I am not sure what you mean by a "video showing the process"? What information would you like to know; how to design the car or the physical techniques used to create the sculpture or something else entirely?

Wow - the Z just looks more and more fantastic every time new pics are posted. I'm loving the curvaceousness of the car all the way along the flanks.

Clive, I was wondering whether you have decided on wheels - are you going to stay with the 360 ones you've been using, or are you thinking of using something else?

It would be nice to see a video of the actual process. Or photos on a cd/dvd showing the process. I think most people would pay for a video on how you did it.

I do hope Clive makes a pictoral history available of the construction. I am also interested in what spin-offs may come of this.

While I think the 360s are fine, to me a set of Challenge type wheels would be even more flattering.

Looking forward to the next round of photos!

I am in the UK at present, in the Lake District considering a redesign of a couple of boats...

I called in to see AndrewG on Monday and had a good chat.

The Z is being prepared for mould making in my absence. Moulds should be ready sometime in September.

Wow, the original wheels really demonstrate how much wider the rear of the car is now! Can't wait to see the car once it eventually gets painted...

Wait until you see it with paint showing the curves & reflections.

Take a glance back to page 1 of the thread to see how far.

Zertec, will those bumpers bolt straight onto a normal Mondial Qv or will they be too wide at the edges

Sorry they are completely different. Also the curve I have added to the front plan would not match the very square front of the normal Mondial.

One of the interesting details will be the rear bumper. This will slide open about 4-5 inches when unlocked from the inside of the car. Inset in the (now exposed) top of the bumper will be recesses for tools (jack, spanners, triangle etc). These recesses will be sealed with panels closed using Dzus type fasteners and rubber gaskets. This avoids hassle when the boot (trunk) is full of luggage.

Clive, I have been following this project for a while and its great to see the progress everytime. The bumpers look great BTW!

I am sure you have heard this many times before but its great to see you doing your own thing rergardless just as your signature suggests.

When do you suppose this project will conclude?

    V..

Thanks. I find it amusing to read the early comments on this thread that were posted before the shape of the car fully materialised... :)

I hope this car will be finished by Spring 2007.

I considered Mondial MZ but I think that the car is so different now it needs a new name.

Looking good! You need to get that thing in as many magazines as you can when it's done.
