My sister is in London for the semester and took our camera so I asked her to take pictures of cars for me She saw this one but I don't know what it is. Bentley? These are the pics she took. If you need higher resolution to help, then I can post those Thanks in advance PS If you know the model then great, but make is good enough Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
It appears to be a Rolls Royce Phantom IV, however those cars were made to be built by a coachbuilder. All Rolls Royce did was build the chasis, the rest was up to the buyer. This link will give you a lot more detail on it as well. http://www.darkforce.com/royce/phantom4.htm
I was going to say it looks very close to either a Rolls Royce Silver Wraith or a Bentley Mark V. The Phantom IV looks very similar as well.
I'll tell you what, I think it is a Silver Wraith. I can't judge the year, but I can tell you that it is not a Bentley, because the Spirit of Ecstasy is pretty easy to see in one of the pictures. But I would put my money on the Silver Wraith, not the Phantom IV. Here is a link for more info on the Wraith: http://www.darkforce.com/royce/swraith.htm
It does look like this silver wraith from that link: I'm going to go with Silver Wraith. Thanks a lot guys! Image Unavailable, Please Login

I didn't realize they were the exact same car! Nice work Townshend Do you know what year it is as well?
nice job walter, not only did you identify the car, but you took it a step further and identified the exact same car! great work!
Alright Townshend. What is the other blue car next to it? Because it looks like they were both there! My sister says they were there for a wedding Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
There have been many variations on the original " Spirit of Ecstasy" the sculpture of Eleanor Thornton by Charles M Sykes, apparently the first kneeling Eleanor was created following a request from a customer who had difficulty seeing past / over the original (they used to be larger than the current ones), one of the big myths has been that they were made from solid silver.........most modern examples were made from stainless with the older ones coming in a variety of materials and plated with different metals (the one off a 20hp on my desk is nickel plated) Its just a pity Rolls Royce is now just a badge engineering toy for BMW, I doubt if any other country on the planet would see one of its most famous companies destroyed in such a way as the moron blair allowed Rolls Royce Motors to be
Daimler Limousine is correct. In fact that particular one does not have the original paint, but was painted to match the Rolls. Used to be owned by the Royal Saudi Arabian Embassy.
So from that link I suppose the full name would be "1967 Daimler DS420 Limousine with Coachwork by Vanden Plas" ... if anybody knows better, please correct me Huge thanks to everybody! Here's hi-res of those two shots if anybody wants em, least I can do in return. 1600x1200 just for the Fchat guys http://img456.imageshack.us/img456/1002/limoslw8.jpg http://img523.imageshack.us/img523/5208/limos2xn8.jpg
