Woo Hoo! Ferraris 1-2 in American LeMans Series GT2. This is a big deal, and it's been a long time.

Um, Mosport isn't what I call challenging. Brushing your teeth is challenging.

    Mosport takes STONES.

How long has Porsche continuously won the GT-2 titles? It's great to see the Scuderia Risi Competitione walk away with the top 2 places. The F430 is the first production car that I can remember that has won a race series.

Risi has been very fast in most of the races but has had badluck and been punted off by some of the prototype cars, including Liz, Hey I'M A GIRL SO IT'S A BIG DEAL THAT I CAN DRIVE-Halliday
In the European FIA-GT races the 430's kick a** and there are usually 5 or 6 of them. Check this out.http://www.the-paddock.net

Their problem at RA was the Panoz - Milner turned into the black one at RA and was giving the red one fits yesterday. The Panoz was definitely holding up the Ferrari for who knows what reason. On another forum the comment was made that the visibility or lack thereof with the Panoz contributed to the RA incident.

It was a great race - one of the best we've seen in a long time.

The Speed GT race was good too - the Volvo certainly had a command of the situation. Not often do you get the opportunity to see a Viper get the blue flag for a Volvo. The Formula BMW race Saturday was a good one too with first and second coming across the finish line almost together in the rain.

We'll be back next year barring any conflicts. Exceptional weekend, neat track, great racing and a whole lot cheaper than F1 races. F1 doesn't let you walk amongst the cars on the grid prior to the race! Grid walk was fantastic.
