Older lambo's like the CT are holding or rising in price
Diablo's seem to be holding quite steady. The 6.0 Diablo is still commanding big dollars..almost used Murci money, in fact I have seen some advertized for more money then the first year Murcis.

Murci's are continuing to fall in price..but not rapidly, only because they are going through the standard depriciation any car goes through. More then likely will start to level off a bit once the Lp640 hits the market.

best bang for the buck Lambo wise at the moment are the Diablo's. Nice ones can be had in the 100k range rough ones are bringing 75-90k. but once you hit the VT Roadsters and 6.0's, hang on to your wallet.

Well said Tom. I would add the overall Diablo pricing is up over last year...almost across the board.

A 400GT just sold for $253k in Monterey, which is about $100k higher than I recall one selling for, and over $100k higher than the same one sold for a few years ago.

    I'd say that's pretty good. :)

It all depends on what era Lambos you are talking about. If you want to know about depereciation on a new LP640, you will be clubbed like a baby seal. If you are talking about a Miura, you may see 6-figure appreciation over the next year or two. Very soon, Miura SVs will likely be the first million dollar Lambos.

Well, usually people who are in the market for Lamborghinis know how to spell and don't particularly care for DEPRICIATION.

    Schooooools out for..... SUMMER! Yea-haw!!!!!

It was confirmed that a SV was recently sold for just over 600K. It was an excellent car in exceptionally collectable condition.

I recently saw the one-owner $600k+ car and it really is in great original condition. Looks like something out of a time capsule. Within 18 months, I will bet there is $1M SV sold. Rumor has it, an owner turned down $750,000 for a Miura at Concorso. Get the old ones NOW, because the pre-80's Lambos are taking off in value. And Diablos are doing very well too!

What the heck is DEPRICIATION? I'm fairly familiar with DEPRECIATION, but since I tend to purchase my vehicles on a pre-owned basis, I haven't experienced a whole lot of it :)

Touche! (add the funny mark over the "e" if you wanna get technical)

You see??? Hence I am not in a market for Lamborghinis, my theory is correct.

I thought the poster was asking about the new Lambo's not the classics. No doubt the classics are on their way up, in fact I cannot belive how fast the Miura (any version) has increased in price. I remember just 5 years ago you could buy a good conditon Mirura in the 60k range..now you would be lucky to find a basket case for that kind of money.

The 350, and 400 series has really surpirized me aswell. These were once very cheap to buy, but now have taken off like an out of control rocket. I so wish I bought the one I was offered about 6 years ago.

Oh well..I guess I'm stuck looking for a Diablo seems to be the only one thats affordable anymore.

Espadas are still fairly reasonable - but seem to be on the move upwards. Should have bought a nice driver with slightly scruffy interior a couple years back for $15k...probably good for closer to $30k in the same condition now.

LOL :) Since my name isn't Dan, I won't pretend to be in the market either - though I have made serious offers in the past for some of the earlier L-cars.

One can purchase a nice Uracco for the price of a cheap used Corvette.

The car has Weber carbs, 5spd, and a nice revving V-8.

Their you go, a 100% L car for less than a cheap Chevy. It will also get you in all the exotic drives with other L cars.

Espada's got 12 & is underpriced (or at least was...seems to be creeping up).

Jarama does as well, but I've never warmed to that design.

The one owner time capsule car- which one is that?
And, the one currently listed at autosportdesigns- it doesn't suck either.
Otherwise, I agree with the sentiments expressed by my learned brethren. Espadas are still cheap, though, and I wouldn't mind having one of those either....

Instead of starting a new thread I will ask my question here. Does anyone have a gut feeling of when higher mileage Gallardos will be selling at 100k? Not rebuilts or story cars but well used well kept examples. I was guessing maybe Christmas next year but I also know absolutely nothing and have no data to back it up.
