Gentlemen, What would be the best oil to use, and, do you only change oil at an F dealership, or is there any of the "popular" oil change places recommended? Thanks, Dean
Do a search. There are multiple threads on which oil to use. I use 0w-40 Mobile 1. Do not let any "popular" ( I'm assuming like Jiffy Lube) EVER touch your car. If not the dealer or local trusted mechanic, do it yourself. There are 2 undertray pieces that come off and need to go back on to change oil.
Red Line products exclusively, including gearbox. U'd be amazed at how silky it makes the transmission and u never wait for it to warm up for those ez shifts.
15/50 Mobil 1.........and don't waste your money at the Ferrari dealer. DIY....it takes about 45 mins..........and you know its done right!
Thanks guys! I am understanding from the shipping company that the car should get to Chicago in about 12 -14 days! I thought that was kind of long but I guess I'll have to wait! Will change the oil even though it was done 1K miles ago. My first Ferrari after 3 Porsches! Very excited!! Dean
