Picked up my car on Saturday from Fullbridge Restoration.
    They had:
a Rossa 246GTS - undergoing a fair bit of cosmetic surgery from the door pillars forward.
a Rossa 575 - not sure what that was in for as it looked mint
a Rossa 348 - this car was rear-ended into a ditch at the beginning of the year. The new owners insurance didn't start until midnight that day & so was uninsured. The whole engine subframe was a mess. The owner is getting it repaired in steps as the money becomes available :(

Plus numerous Jags mainly e-type barn finds being restored/rebuilt

Went to the Spitfire Anniversary Airshow at Duxford today. I saw one Ferrari - a Black Enzo EU05 xxx driven by a young-ish Indian/Sri-Lankan (?) couple. It was parked up at the airshow but I saw it as I left being driven.

I cannot honestly say it sounded impressive - it was leaving as 8 Spitfires with 37 litre Merlin engines were doing their bit! The earlier Tornado GR4 was awesome - there was some talk that it had been fitted with a Tubi :D

Some of my sister's spottings, she is in London for the semester. I'm going to keep a high-res gallery regularly updated at
    http://webby.dkmhosting.com/london
Just 6 pics now but as she sends me pictures there will be a ton.
These ones aren't as good quality because she saw the speedster and rolls while on a tour so didn't really have time to stop, and the F430 was driving by.

Porsche 997, Opel Speedster, Ferrari F430, Rolls Royce Silver Wraith

Are they the same car, just different names in different places? Or are they different cars? I didn't even know the Vx220 existed but it looks a little different. I just assumed it was a Speedster because that's the only thing I knew that looked like that
The link is now working for hi-res: http://webby.dkmhosting.com/london
Although like I said, she didn't have time to take good pictures so they are a little blurry

Webby, your Sis WILL send you thousands of photo's if she's sending pics of 911's in London. They're very very popular over here. In fact, earlier on this year, I was cycling to work and stopped at a red light. There was 6 cars at the lights....5 911's and I think the other was a Boxster. Seriously, they're are rediculously common in London.

As for the VX220/Speedster, although they're rare in the US, they're pretty popular here and, IMO, not considered a rare spot.

    Nice pics though.

    All the best
    Jamie

Also, can you guys tell me where some good places to look for cars are in London?

My 1000th post on Fchat and hopefully it'll be a useful one :D

-Park Lane - nice hotels, top end dealerships, plenty of cars driving past
-Mayfair (W1) - plenty of embassies, dealerships, exotics on the road
    -Knightsbridge
    -Kensington
-Sloane Street - most expensive shops in London, plenty of exotica
-Wandsworth - Joe Macari and other top dealerships, always something nice
    -Piccadilly Circus
    -Holland Park
-Maida Vale (Warwick Ave tube station) - nice houses around this area

Just to give an idea of what is around I have added a list of roughly what I saw during an overnight stay in London a few weeks back. There are plenty of Middle Eastern owned exotics in town at the moment including Veyrons, Lambos, Ferraris and pretty much any new model supercar you would care to describe.

-Black Gallardo (LJ04***) and TDF 360 Spider (**02FUN) in Parliament Square

-Grey 575M (GO**BLO) and Red 355 on a T reg at Buckingham Palace

-In and around Sloane Street/Knightsbridge on Saturday night; Black 612, Red 355 Spider, another Black 612 on German plates, Red 360 Spider (OOO*), 04 plate Red 575M, 05 plate Red 430 Spider. Also a Black Porsche 997 Turbo on Bahrain plates and a white DB9.

-Black 430 Spider and Red 355 at Piccadilly Circus.

-Orange Diablo VT at East India Docks, Docklands.

-Sloane Street: Red 430 (UK**RED), Red 360 Spider (LJ04***), Black 360 and a stunningly loud Green Aston Martin Vanquish!

    -Red 430 Spider, Mayfair

    -Black Murcielago

That is just 24 hours worth of wandering around and we only spent perhaps 6 hours outside :D

There are plenty of interesting dealerships with real top end exotics hidden away around London - just PM me for more info.

I will be in London again in October with camera at the ready and hopefully I can add a few pictures to this thread.

    Cheers
    Ben

Spotted an S plate 355, Rosso/Crema parked on a driveway in Richmond. Seen it there a couple of times recently (so not quite 'seen on the road').

It was indeed Jonny's VT. I posted up on Club Scuderia and it eventually transpired that the Lambo was his. There is another almost identical orange 6.0 VT Diablo that can often be seen around Docklands. That is owned by a guy called Tony, also a poster on Pistonheads!

I will be in London in a few weeks with work so hopefully I can spot a stack of Ferraris :D

Saw this old friend yesterday, dropping a guy off at Liverpool Street, Station.
He gave it some beans as he pulled away - still sounds good...

Also a LHD Silver 360 - Billericay High Street this evening.
    Sounded very subdued.

It snapped these "grab shots" just off Park Lane in London on Wednesday, September 6. Sorry about the quality, but the car seemed to have a pearlescent paint job and I though that justified the posting. The car had an Arabic number plate.

    Cheers, MARK

Would anyone know the roaming grounds of any London based F40? Its been my favourite car since I've been 6 and I'm just oh so longing to hear its voice, to glimpse that crazy tail... It seems I'm seeing all the supercars except the F40 in London - Enzo, Zonda, Veyron, LP640... just not that beast on wheels :(
