I originally posted this in the IL/WI section but maybe I'll have better luck here. Looking to pick up a 328 GTS as soon as I find a nice one... I spoke with FVM briefly this morning, seems like everything is in order. Has anyone looked at this car? Impressions or observations? Car is chassis #76713. Thanks!

I did about a 2 page writeup for someone who was thinking about flying in to check it out - my conclusion was that it was worth the trip, but not concourse. Don't know if I still have the detailed version around, but will look. David
Thanks David, if you could find your notes that would be super! I talked to a salesman a little bit more about the car and he faxed me some of the maintenance records - I think the reason the car is still sitting there is that the last major service was 6 years and 10,000 miles ago, and the price is somewhat high with that taken into account. I'm going to look at the car on Saturday but I'm thinking we might have trouble coming to an acceptable deal.
That car looks nice by the picture.... You WILL need a major service too with those many years, to be on the safe side. Also, you would want to have a PPI done also before buying it. This might be a 88 1/2 ??? Seeing by the serial number, so then it would have ABS brakes too.... I had my 88 328 at FVM about 3 years ago for service on my water pump and they did good work, I live about a mile away, so far no problems with it. They were very friendly, but i couldn't get a lamborgini as a loaner.... Tod
