Euro? Whos the seller? Whats the service records? More curious than serious, sub 100K 360s would be suspect IMHO. Saw one @ 100K before, was a euro (out of phoenix? i cant remember) then another one that was "salvage". James in Denver
I tried the above VIN# (ZFFYR51B000116150 ) and according to carfax, there's a "Potential Odometer rollback" reported. 7/16/1999 - 17,234 miles 09/04/2001 - 2,742 miles ... 04/28/2006 - 18,000 miles Again, according to carfax, Continental Autosports sold it with 17,234 miles as the first carfax entry. I don't know who is selling the car now, but i wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. Yikes. F
the 99 milage is unusually high for 99.....unless someone really....really enjoy driving their car (A LOT).
The initial 17k may be right. Remember that they change the speedo when they legalize a euro. It may have had 17k then added 18k for a total of 35k. It could be a clerical error just as easily. If it were 1700 instead of 17000 it would al line up. They made an error in the VIN after all. If you assume 35k miles, the car is clean and in good condition, it is probably still a good buy.
Unless it needs major service, variator, belts, tires, etc. Those items add up. This could be a well used 360 in need of $15k worth of work.
Gotta love the modulars. Definately go for it unless it has serious issues. If its just a Euro who cares. YIKE nevermind not with that odo discrempancy, skidkid may be right and that would be very bad.
Assuming that everything is legit on the car, who in their right mind would sell a car for about $20K below FMV? Any owner would presumably have an inkling of the value of their car and certainly all dealers would sell the car for as much as they could. Therefore, there is undoubtedly a story associated with the car, if indeed this a real car and that it is still available.
i am pretty sure it is a euro car, it is being sold at bentley gold coast / luxury motor cars. i remeber i saw a thread about a cheap spider selling there too.
It's a Euro car - look at the driver door striker panel and you can see the substitute VIN sticker. Sounds priced right for a project car.
