great pictures of a stunning machine!

the enzo does nothing for me from the factory but the performance is shattering.

jim's car is what the car could have been and now we are all fortunate to enjoy jim's vision first hand.

i was thinking as i look at the photos...

...i wonder what coco thinks or if he is jealous? years of custom commissioning and never a morthy machine being the result.

...jim does it once and the first time out of the gate...a veritable masterpiece!

we will all covet this car for a lifetime.

Hell, what else can I say - the thing is stunning! Jim - job well done my friend. You've showed the world that custom coach building is very much alive! You don't need a Bufori anymore to have an individual automobile (thank God! lol) Fantastico!!

Nice photos. In one photo, it looks like when they painted James' car they got some overspray on someone's jacket.

...and they got it from <drumroll>:

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=136034204&postcount=2819

I think his complaint is that the image quality has been reduced by saving it at a lower data rate. That always happens with the color red, as it doesn't compress well in the .JPG image format. Something happened to the image between the time you saved it from there and uploaded it here because the version they hosted as POTD looks much better than the one you shared in this thread.

The thing I don't like about any of the articles is they always mention a price tag. I specifically did not mention how much this car cost (on ferrarip45.com) because if that matters, then IMHO you don't understand what this car is about. On the same token, I suppose these magazines appeal to a wide variety of crowds so...

On the contrary, I do think that price does have a small factor in it. Showing Jim's passion. I know you can not put a price tag on it, but it is apparent that he didn't take any short cuts to make his car any less than perfect.

The truth of the matter is that most people do only know the big things.
-It is a Ferrari Enzo that has been rebodied.
    -It was made by Pininfarina
    and lastly
-It cost 4 million dollars to make.

In my opinion, that last statement will make anyone's jaw hang wide open.

You guys are very right saying that it is one of the least important factor of the final car, but in the long run, it was also the determining factor of how well the outcome would be.

I've seen her, and price wouldn't matter one bit to me if I was assured that my car would look remotely close to how well Jim's came out. Jim had no reassurance other than the sketches made. That is passion, which is the biggest factor.
