OK, I surrender. I'd like to know what EXACTLY came with a US SPEC Dino, in say... 1972. JUST the contents of the pouch. Not the tools, FOBs, or any other stuff, just the pouch. I know what the Pouch looks like, courtesy of a couple of Fchatters, but I still don't know EXACTLY what would have been in the pouch. So, Fchat Pouch Experts, please weigh in. Here's what I have Owner's Manual - Red Cover 72/72 Additional US instructions Red Cover 60/72 Spare Parts Catalog Red Cover 68/72 Warranty Card - Blue Please fill in the blanks US Dealer Directory?? Radio Instructions ??? Other Stuff?? Yellow Dust cloth?? Thanks Guys. Dave

Shawn. I've seen everything but the A/C warranty info and the consumer info. Can you post pictures? Dave
I don't believe I've ever seen an a/c warranty. I assume you have one and will post a photo? Does anyone else have an a/c warranty? Thank you - Mark
Sorry... for the Euro (non-us) crowd... does the warranty card belong in a 1971 vintage pouch?? Pietro
warranty cards woulkd have been included from the factory on all dino's. however, it was very common that dealers threw these out (including chinetti) so buyers wouldn't expect free services. the warranty cards varied over the years. the 1973 year card is the first that i know of that wasn't the same as a similiar ferrari warranty card. the 73 warranty book has a red cover and is roughly the same size as the parts manual. the 74 warranty card has the same book, but with a "1974" red sticker placed over the 1973. the 1973 card came with both a black and a red binding tape. i believe the red followe dthe black, but i am open to suggestions.
consumer info is a white booklet, there was one recently on ebay. not an uncommon item a/c warranty info - this isn't that rare, is it?
it is up for debate whether the warranty registartion info was included in the handbook or outside, either way, it was used by the dealer to reigister the car with the factory for warranty purposes.
for the 73 style pouch/ car: new style pouch (it can be argued when this was implemented) red owners manual (72/72) parts manual (68/72) red cover with blue dino dealers service directory (77/73) additional instructions 1973 (60/72) consumer info booklet (53/71) as well as other above mentioned items.
keep in mind the consumer info booklet did not change over the years, unless i am mistaken. the "additional instructions" did, and is based on year model and production time. battery warranty info is very difficult to find and is rare, even when delivered new. base don year, it could be magnetti or fiamm.
with the change from shell to agip in late 1973/early 1974 (i do not believe this year model specific, but have been unable to pinpoint when the change happened), the type of oil/tack cloth changed. the shell cloth had a silk screened shell/ferrari motif. the agip style was plain and came in an agip "bag". accordingly, the lube charts appeared at this time to show the change in oil brands. the lube charts consist of two pieces (lubricants chart and lubricants comparisson chart) designed to detail the change over. the lube charts only apply to 74 model year (depending on when the agreement was set to move to agip - i have to see a 73 model year car have this issue, although early 74 model year cars are mixed).
the warranty cards were factory issued, depending on the year, they vary in styla and design. you are mor elikley to come across warranty cards in euros cars than us spec cars. chinetti was well known for tossing them so they would not have to comtimplate warranty repairs. they were either local or not factory reimbursed.
TSB # 162/4 Dated 12/11/73 shows Shell for all models. I have all the origional Bulletins #101 (5-30-68) through #250 (3-29-74) and see no mention of the change date. Many interesting 246 changes noted regardless. Dave
as i mentioned, it is up for debate. i know of several late 73 cars that had the agip cloth in the pouch. additionally, by 74, there were no more shell cloths being placed. the lubricant chartsare not dated like other printings (at least the first ones - which are relevent) so it is hard to determine when they started to appear.
I will photograph mine (TS162/4) and see if someone can help me post it here (I have no idea how to place a photo). I am sure they had pouchs all filled and ready for the warranty books and to be put in the car. Additionally, I am sure that any deal with Agip was struck up long before 1-1-74 and the change over date. Having Agip cloths in a Shell equiped car is no suprise to me. I will search more of my old documentation and see if there is any mention of the change date. Dave

here's the original warranty card for my car. US SPEC 1972 October Manufacture Date. Note it didn't deliver to its first owner until 1974, and all of the warranty services were done on the car before it was ever delivered.
