Winter Park Concours October 22

Who else is going? I registered the F40 a couple of weeks ago.

I've been as a spectator the last 2 years and it's a great show.

 

LOL! I was in the process of creating this exact thread.

I would like to attend, and participate in some fashion, but don't consider my 86TR "concours" worthy. Is there something that a non competing f-car owner can participate in?

 

I will be a spectator for my first year.

 

Sounds like an F-Chat lunch is in order. Are you up for it Ron / Rob? As it gets closer we'll get a head count.

Thought about you this morning, met a friend taking his F360 to a shop here in Boca Raton. I walk in, there is an F40, and a real 288 GTO.

That was just in the lobby.

We then went into the shop. Two Daytonas, a mint 275 Nart Spider, three mint 1950's Rolls, and a mint MGB- GT. Forget about the F360's and the 308 GT4.

Nice way to start the weekend.

 

I'm going... this will be my 4th time going. Even though I don't have a ferrari, I just go to see all the nice cars, and it is free

Hey Simmon, I didn't meet you directly, but I did talk to you at the Cars for the Cure show.... remember William? the kid who was to have a photoshoot of your car and that got there late? I was his friend that came early.

A 275 Nart Spider is my dream 2 seat open top road car. I prefer it many times over to the 250 Cal Spider's that get so much more "press". Trying to guess the car/owner... Was it white?

I Have nothing to do with this show, except I am showing a car there.

I don't understand how this is a commercial post, any more than a post saying "who is going to buy the new 599GTB?"

For those interested in doing a lunch get together check back in early october, and we'll get a head count maybe 2 weeks before the show. either post you want to go (and let me know if your solo or how many), or you can PM me.

 

I can go back Monday and take soe photos. But no, I never imagined I would see what I encountered today, so no camera.

 

Possibly. Depends on if I go up for the weekend and stay with a lady I know in Deland, or if I take a lady from down here, or if I go alone. Actually my first preference is to take the lady from down here and spend the weekend with the one up there. :}

Let's chat as we get closer. If its a one day trip, the company would be appreciated. I will be driving the A6.

no, i'm actually from jacksonville, but I go to shows as far as tampa (festivals of speed... in feb) I could join ya if you let me know ahead of time.

 

Yes, that is my preference. Sometimes I just do not understand why women get a little testy with this concept.

 

I was planning on coming down to Orlando for some business. Perhaps I will schedule it to coincide with that weekend....
