    Jason,

    Go to http://www.alfabb.com/

It's a good resource for Alfas and you're more than likely going to get more information there for both the cars you're interested in.

Good advice from Nizam. My $02. Go for the 164. More modern sophisticated and better looking (imho).

164 was front drive; Milano was the last of the real Alfa's-RWD, transaxle, etc.

    Jason where do you live?

In addition to the front/rear wheel drive difference is the size difference. Milano is sort of like a 3 series BMW, 164 like a 5 series car.

The 164 will be newer than the Milano.

    Both fun cars.

Agreed. I had a milano for a short time-nice car but I like the 164 more. Love my spider most of all though :)

I say find a nice Milano Verde and you'll be happy. Milano's are a bit smaller but are better cars, in my opinion. I've gone through a fair share of both. 164 parts are harder to get than Milano and they cost more to maintain. Another thing about the Milano is that the A/C works a lot better and it's more fun to drive.

The A/C in all three of my 164's was very good. Again, you have to not care that most people will NOT like the looks of your car if you buy a Milano. If YOU do however, then by all means, test drive one. I have heard they are fun.

The Milano is a great car; I had a Verde a while back that I bought for a winter beater and I had a lot of fun with it! It handled amazingly well in the snow too!
