I think they are 6.5inch speakers in the lower part of the doors. Should be the only speakers in the 348.
Thanks for the info! But I think there are 4 speakers in the 348?!?! Doesnt the manual say there are two more on the dash? Next to the A/C?
Sorry forgot to ask, does anyone know the speaker size of the speakers in the dash? I cant seem to hear mine?!?! Seems like PAP cant hear his either. Can anyone confirm there are speakers there? thanks.
I dont think so man. I just looked in my manual and it has pictured only 1 speaker in each door. The speakers are referred to as 'loudspeakers' in the manual. I only have 2 speakers in my 12/91 348TB. Not sure about anyone else?
There are speakers behind the little grills on the extreme left and right of the dash (number 67 in the diagram on page H2 of the manual for my '91 tb!)

Actually, I should have been more specific sorry lads. The owner before me has fitted a Sony MP3 player to my car and new door speakers. So maybe there is speakers in my dash, but they were never re-wired to the new MP3 player? My manual does not show the ones in the dash for some reason....... EDIT-Yes it does. I see them in the manual. Mine must not be wired up now.
No! Well, only if I put an ear right up to it. I have to say I'm not very impressed by the sound system. My previous car was a 944 turbo with the ten speaker system - that was pretty good.
It does have a sports exhaust (not sure what make) and it does make a great noise, but it would be nice to listen to the radio/CD occasionally!
I can't sing. But, hey, if I 'sang' in the car I wouldn't be able to hear myself over the exhaust note, so it might sound OK!
