I was lucky enough to be asked to judge at the Radnor Hunt Concours. We had a fabulous day and 105 phenomenal cars. I judged the Veteran class, Post War sports cars and Historic Racing Cars.

We picked a 1911 Hart Kraft truck to win the Veteran class. It beat out a well travelled Rolls Royce and this phenomenal Locomotion 5500 limo complete with Tiffany lamps.

We picked a 1939 Alvis Speed 25 Touring over a lovely 1929 Alfa 1750 Spyder and several MGs.

We picked Bruce Perrone's 1955 Ferrari 750 Monza in a tough decision over a 1955 Jaguar D Type, an Allard, a funky Peugeot, a 1927 Amilcar and an Ausin Healy 100M and a 356.

The featured marques were French bodied cars and Porsches. Both categories were extremely well represented. There were 2 Porsche 917s and a 962, 4 Carrera GTs, and a host of amazing 911 variations as well as numerous lovely 356s.

    warm regards

    Ken Visser

The Berline went on to win another award as it rightly should have. It was an incredible vehicle. I loved the air shocks on it. First time application. I spoke with the owner for a while. He spend over 700 hours on the interior alone! All the details of that car cumulatively were astounding.

    cheers,

    Ken
