Nice! I can't believe that car is basically on the road and no car magazine has reviewed it yet. The reception on the thing has been so luke warm. Given the amount of people that have driven and loved the Elise you think that people would be salivating to get in one. Kind of sad.

I'd like to see one in person. For some reason, most Lotus vehicles look a lot better in person than they do in photographs.

Why does Lotus (or any other manufacturer) bother to recycle names like that? Why call this thing a "Europa"? Really, is there any reason to do that?

I have never been a fan of the Elise in terms of style.

I suppose this car is a marginal improvement.

When was the Lotus design department taken over by Hyundai?

That thing looks ghastly. Maybe it's just the angle of the pics, but the tail looks like the south end of a huge northbound horse, the front end with those headlights and the two semi-circles looks bizarre (did that style not come from a Hyundai model of a few years ago?).

Then, to add insult to injury, they give it the name of a car that was the epitome of minimalism.

    Sad.

The front end could stand to have a 'meaner' look to it

The front end looked like the Acura RSX at first.
