This should be one of the more interesting match ups this weekend, regardless of the disparity in rank and point spread.
I think the Huskers will prevail; they are under no pressure outside of showing up.

Neither USC nor UT are the same teams from the championship game. OSU demonstrated the latter, perhaps NU will do the same??

I would like to think NU will win, but:
    1) USC - been there/done that/everyone has been gunning for them for 4 years.
    2) NU - has nothing to lose, and nobody thinks they will win, so no pressure.

That said, if NU doesn't get any pressure on Booty, they will throw for 300+ yards on an inexperienced NU secondary. My concern is they (NU) didn't put a whole helluva lot of pressure on the Nicholls State QB.... and they have 2 DE's that are supposed to be 'all-american'.

USC does not really impress me as being a BCS team this year, but they probably have a bit more experience than NU in a few key areas, especially receivers vs. DB's.........

USC by 17, but I would not be a bit surprised to see NU win, it just depends on which NU Defensive scheme shows up.

I predict USC although I would like NU to win. More importantly I hope the canes will win!

My dad is from Nebraska so I'm a Huskers fan by proxy and really would like to see them win, but USC looks like they're gonna be pretty tough again this year so I have to give the edge to them. But this may be the game to watch this weekend and who knows what will happen.

Nebraska is on the rise, but I don't think they are quite ready for this level of opponent.

I went to NU from 1976-1980. Maybe I know him ?
If he (or anyone on here) was there in that timeframe, PM me.

    Just as I thought.

The nice thing is, USC didn't cover the spread. :)

I don't think NU played too bad, they just did not capitalize on opportunities.
They need to play more teams like USC. I AM kinda surprised NU ran so much.
