FROM AOL NEWS. A red Ferrari Enzo is on track to break the record for the highest sale price on eBay UK. The sports car has so far attracted a top bid of more than £300,000 on the online auction site. That figure smashes the record for the most expensive item sold on eBay.co.uk, held since 2000 by a £103,000 handbag owned by Lady Thatcher. According to the site, the Ferrari is one of only 400 Enzo models ever made. The left-hand drive two-seater car has just 500 miles on the clock which were apparently run up during publicity shots. It is being sold by an eBay vendor called flogit4u. But the listing warns that the car is not in the UK and the buyer will be responsible for organising transport and paying any import fees. The current highest bid does not meet the reserve price required by its vendor. If bids do not hit that price, the car will not sell. But another Enzo model sold for £540,000 two years ago on eBay's Swiss website - the company's highest value sale yet in Europe. Jody Ford, head of eBaymotors.co.uk said: "This sale shows that eBay has become the place to buy and sell more or less anything. "From everyday items sold at fixed prices to collectables such as this Ferrari that are sold in the auction-style format, the site attracts buyers and sellers for almost any conceivable object." The auction for the car closes on Thursday, September 21.

what an awesome garage. in the 11th picture, it looks like there is another Enzo behind the one for sale, but it looks to be in black and white so i dont know if its fake or not...
Did you also notice the Enzo behind it that is still in the original "wrapper"? Talk about brand new!
Hi mate if you look at the mirror you will see that this Enzo is in fact a red example, the white that you see is in fact the way that the car left the factory complete with packaging Image Unavailable, Please Login
I could be very wrong but doesnt that garage look like one of the one's in Brunei? Unless they can prove they or their client do own legaly own the car I'll happilly call BS (unless one of the chassis number nuts can tie the car down to an owner and location and verify it's for sale)
That would be interesting if it was Brunei. I just sent an e-mail asking if the two other red Enzos behind this one are for sale as well as the location.
Hi mate i am sure that i saw the seller Flogit4u as our newest member a while back? any way to check?
No one registered with that name. http://ferrarichat.com/forum/memberlist.php?do=getall&page=13&order=asc&sort=username<r=F
Steve, yes they have registered....but havent responded to the confirmation email so don't show up on the members list in the resources tab, not 100% sure as you'd assume a company selling a £600k car would use their own domain name in emails rather than a generic webmail provider Personaly I still think it's a bogus auction simply based on what it is, how its being marketed, the photo's, the refusal to diviluge the location or chassis number of the car etc etc etc
Im not sure how much i trust a seller who is selling a Enzo Ferrari, and also a Transformers Robot action figure: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TRANSFORMERS-Robot-Figure-Scorponok-G1-Toy-Model_W0QQitemZ140028717926QQihZ004QQcategoryZ4696QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem On a more positive note, i wish i had higher-rez photo's for which he has on the listed auction!
i have a very strong feeling that the 'action shots' were taken in singapore. singapore has only one enzo that i know of, i have no idea whether the car being sold is indeed the one located here. heres the owners garage. impressive to say the least!
Dandruff, the photo's of the Enzo in that auctions were photographed in Singapore and if that really is a legit auction then it would be one of the two red Enzo's here in Singapore. BUT, it is not the one in the car collection of the guy above, it is the other one that is a much less profile one
Also if the guys in the Singapore section of these forums are right, then this is the Enzo on sale. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I cant beleve all the stupid question from ebayers. The seller seems realy cool about it giving funny responces. But it would piss me of.
Just got a reply. They said "unfortunately we are unable to release the loaction of the vehicles and we do not have the rights for sale on the other Enzo or other Ferrari's shown."
yup, me too! one of unknown colour but still 'in the wrapper' behind the red one for sale and one red one as per the red wing mirror to left of that unidentified-coloured one too!!
I believe both are red. The one diagonal that you mention with the wing mirror is red, yes. The one behind appears to be red according to this picture. Notice the slight hint of red on the nose. http://pictures.macrosysinc.net/rsw/126916/7553C.jpg
