    To celebrate Michael Schumachers last F1 race, the Tennessee Ferrari Club will be hosting a live TV viewing of the Brazilian Grand Prix at 10:30 AM CST, October 22 (location to be finalized).

    Not only will this be Schumis last hurrah, it could very well be the deciding race for the closely fought Drivers Championship (with 3 races to go, Michael is 2 points behind Alonso).

    JC has found us a great restaurant for viewing the race. They are not normally open on Sunday but will host us if we can guarantee *at least* 20 people.

    They would be doing us a big favor by opening up on Sunday (and renting a big screen TV), so please let us know ASAP if you will be attending.

    This will be a monumentally important race, not only because it's Michaels last race. It's virtually guaranteed that the Drivers and Constructors Championship will be decided here.

    That looks like a pretty cool place. But with the race being in Brazil, what will the time be here? I would be glad to get a bunch of pics of the event for everyone and post them up on Fchat. It sounds like it will be a great time.

    That's the great thing about Brazil; it's only a couple of time zones away (to the east) so the race will be LIVE at 10:30 AM Nashville time.

    Crawford, was wondering if you have to be a member of the club or anything to join the viewing. I live down the road from JC and introduced myself a few months ago after seeing his car and he told me that it shouldn't be a problem, but I wanted to doublecheck, as this didn't sound like the kind of gathering he was telling me to watch for. I'll be there for sure if the restauraunt isn't too draining on my wallet. Am looking forward to meeting some fellow enthusiasts. Thanks much,

    Although we always encourage all "tifosi" to join the Ferrari Club of America, you do not need to be a member to take part in these festivities. There are some regional events, however, that are exclusive to FCA members (i.e. track events). Other events are open to all but have an admission fee if you're not a member. (A schedule of events can be found at www.fca-se.com Join the FCA online at www.ferrariclubofamerica.com)

    You *do not* need to own a Ferrari to join the club; you just need to be a fan of the marquee.

    You guys better get a lot of drinks due to the last race in Japan. I still am upset at the results. At least the season was exciting.
