By the way, NNO. Is there something special about Pharrell's enzo since you mention his car in your public profile, or are all black enzos just as good?
Are there anyone else here but me and NNO? I just find all my answers in the enzoregistry. Not exactly the biggest challenge. You don't have to make up questions just for me if not anyone else is competing, NNO.
can i get a point if i answer mre than the SN, since its already been answered? Not too shabby... Modena1_2003: 6 Townshend: 13 MGD416: 2 Fiorano94: 2 Feteknut: 7 Ferrariartist: 6 Round 38: I'll make this one ridiculous - probably impossible - simply because you seem to be getting the answers too easily. What is the serial number of the very first Enzo Carbon McCoy ever saw "in the flesh"...?
Pharrell's is my favorite not because it's his, but because it's the first all-black Enzo I ever saw in person. He happens to own it right now. I love all Enzos - black Enzos in particular - and all-black Enzos even more - but 134282 is my absolutely favorite, hands down, bar none.
Round 38: I'll make this one ridiculous - probably impossible - simply because you seem to be getting the answers too easily. What is the serial number of the very first Enzo Carbon McCoy ever saw "in the flesh"...? Still haven't found the answer to this question, but I'm learning a! lot none the less as I'm searching, and I found this!!! NNO's first ever post on fchat!!! I guess we all have to start somewhere huh? D.E.S. (Sickspeed) New member Username: Sickspeed Post Number: 1 Registered: 8-2002 Posted on Sunday, August 04, 2002 - 2:37 am: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- hello, everyone... not only am i new here, i can plainly see that i'm out of my league... you people DRIVE ferraris... i look at them and drool with a sad face, as they blow by me... um... but since we're talking about tickets, please humor me and hear my humble story... i was coming back from D.C. with a friend of mine, in her Jeep Grand Cherokee... we're on the NJ tpke and she's fast asleep... down the entrance ramp, a silver piece of heaven merges with the rest of the traffic, just up ahead of me... she was an ethnic mix, part asian and who knows what else... gorgeous, sitting there in her Ferrari 360 Modena... it was beauty on top of beauty... As a long-standing Ferrari lover, i had to take a shot at this flawless machine... i pulled up on her right side and made sure she noticed me... i waved, gave a once-over look at the car and gave her a thumbs up... she smiled and then brought the shift down to 6th... i looked straight ahead as her car got smaller and smaller... i crushed the gas pedal beneath my foot as i demanded this 6 cylindar putt-putt-in-comparison catch up to the dream-come-true fantasy, flying down the turnpike... i finally caught up to her and she toyed with me... speeding up, then slowing down so i could catch her... what more could a guy ask for...? We were between 95-100 mph, bobbing and weaving through traffic like Muhammed Ali through opponents... this continued for about 10 more minutes until we were blew passed two state troopers, sitting next to each other, on the shoulder... . i knew i was had... i dusted the brakes off with my food as i began decreasing speed... i quickly merged into middle lane, hoping i could hide... she was ahead of me, of course and i watched as she got further and further away, when i got pulled over and she didn't... The cop asked if i knew how fast i was going and i pleaded: "officer, yes, i know i was in excess of the posted limit (which was 65) but that woman in the Ferrari was tail gating me...! i couldn't get out of the lane 'cause of other traffic, i had no where to go!" He wasn't buying it... when he said he was going to give me a ticket, i asked why he never pulled her over, after all, there was two state troopers... he said the following: "Because we clocked her at 80mph... ...we got you at 91." i tried, desperately, to contain the HUGE smile i felt coming on... $370 later, i STILL smile when i think about it and, given half the chance, i would do it all over again. -des
What kind of exhaust is this? Someone stated earlier in this thread that both 134281 and 132664 have tubi, but they are clearly different exhausts in the pics attached to the post # 194 page 10. Image Unavailable, Please Login
i may be wrong here, but i thought it was the same as the answer to #38 the yellow 131026 at the Wide World of Cars, Spring Valley NY... he wrote a 5 or 6 part saga of threads of his visit that day. GT
Grant, no; the first Enzo I saw was a different one. I'll give you a hint. The first Enzo I ever saw in the flesh was black. Feteknut, that's a Tubi in the picture you posted...
The first ever black on black enzo NNO saw was S/N 134282, Assembly Number 51321, Engine Number 78146. But is this also the first ever black enzo NNO saw? Someone answer this question so we can move on in this thread. Also, the S/N belonging to FX Performance's enzo (question 28 or somewhere around there) is still unanswered.
134282 is the wrong answer, but the first black Enzo I ever saw does have an all-red interior... I'm leaving in about four hours on a road trip and won't be back until Monday morning. We'll have to continue this then.
i am not so big in the red/black i like it a little flashier, i think the best colors are either red/red or black/red what do you all think?
