Race City Sept 21st from 10 - 2 pm. 30 Exotics. ZR Track Day followed by Fall Tour 2006. Thursday night at The Ranche in Fish Creek Park at 7 pm for photo op....
Another set of headlights to watch out for... I didnt take the picture, just thought I would pass it on as a friendly reminder. Nice day, silver Cl65 AMG on crowchild..trying to head north Image Unavailable, Please Login
I see the driver of "MATADOR" has upgraded (edit: apparently this is old news, but its new to me )...it was parked on 3rd Street downtown this afternoon. If the driver is a user of the board, I really must compliment the mods. Usually I'm not a fan of visual upgrades on exotics, but this was done very tastefully and it all worked together very very nicely. I love the clear engine cover and body-colored valve covers! Again, very nicely done. By the way, there were about half a dozen Englishmen looking at the car who were acting less than respectful around your car...they didn't seem to be sober either. I kept my eye on them from a distance until they left because you've really got to look out for one another. Ol' Tanner's got you covered...haha
MATADOR was at The Ranche in Fish Creek tonight. Nice car. Saw all the others too. Enzo, Countach, 2 355's, 328GTS, 4-5 360's, ZR Auto 430, 4-5 Murcie's. All gorgeous cars up close, and all sounded awesome coming in. Mike.
You were there Mike? I was the guy with the tripod/camera, freezing my ass off...Good fun. EDIT: Silver baby. http://supercarfreak.net/gallery/album373 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I was the guy with the 2 little girls. They were thrilled when the first Murcie went by at mid-throttle, I think the sound scared them a little at first but then they were all smiles. My camera did not like the low light so I will be stealing a few of your pics. EDIT: What camera are you using Sheldon?
No pics of the Countach...To be honest i'm not a fan of that car. Mike: I was using a Canon Rebel XT.
Oh young guys these days. They just don't understand history. Every true car guy is a fan of the Countach purely for what it represented and what it did to pave the way. My 2 Cents.
Anybody here going to the vintage sports car club show Saturday 23 in Stanley Park in Calgary? This year is featuring the marks of Italy. I went 2 years ago and there was some very nice stuff Ferrari's included. Mike.
