Silenced today; the truth soon. By the way, has anybody heard anything about Euro Motorsports? Positive? Negative? Employees of Euro Motorsports need not reply.

Instead of posting unsubstantiated innuendo, why don't you wait until you can say something meaningful.

I've met Daniel. He seems like a nice person, and is pretty knowledgeable about Ferraris. I know of a few dealers with poor reputaitons - Schmitt and Eurospec Exotic (Philip Haupt).

When you come to a new house, don't start by throwing eggs at one of the regulars. If you have a problem there is a reasonable way to go about resolving it.

No disrespect meant to the house. Just the opposite - I would like visitors made aware of a potential problem in the community.

What would you consider reasonable? Repeated phone calls? Faxes? Correspondence? Simple statements of fact? Tried those. Not working.

I would hate to see anyone else get fried. A little egg might serve as a warning. I am pulling together a website for particulars as I don't know how to enter documentation on this site. My timing may be off, but my intentions are honorable. Sorry if I've jumped the gun, but I would have appreciated a warning. All I can say is that a vehicle should be delivered in the condition you purchased it in. Mine wasn't.

Sometimes the house needs cleaning. You may not have jumped the gun, just back up whatever you say with fact. If you have facts, do not be afraid of stating your opinion.

There are a few local "dealers" here on FChat I would not buy a used Chevette from let alone a Ferrari, so if you have a legit problem, speak your mind. If you are getting the run around, tell us about it.

I thought that was the purpose of a forum.

I do wish to reply as is my God given right. From the vague information you have posted on this forum I believe I know who you are. You are sadly mistaken in your accusations and you sir, must live in your own world. If you are who I think you are all I have to say is simply this. I have from the time you were sitting in my office when you personally inspected the car until the time the car was loaded onto your transporter on video. Your car is documented as never leaving the property.Period. End of Story..I have it on DVR....12 angles. Please tread very carefully with your accusations and false statements. I will speak no more on this subject at this point because you sir remain anonymous. Should you identify yourself as who I think you are I will have to start posting still frames of every hour on the hour from the time you left until the time your transporter picked the car up which is also on video.

Daniel identified himself and backed up his statement with facts. Kind of hard to dispute video. This should end the discussion.

    What discussion?

Some guy posting nothing but empty promises does not start a discussion.

    Daniel,

Responding to this nonsense is a waste of time.

Now we're back to the Smoke and Mirrors I've come to expect from Euro Motorsports. First of all, I certainly hope you know who I am. According to your own statements, your company would never drive a customer's car. Obviously, I would be fresh in your mind then. As for living in my own world, well that would be nice, because I've been very disappointed in yours. However, we know that my world is reality and that documentation does not lie.

In your world, you say that you have video from 12 different camera angles of my car never being moved until it was put on my transporter. "MY" transporter? Are you sure? "MY" transporter? You must be sure because you typed it twice. Yet "MY" transporter has never been in the state of Florida. I could send you a picture of the odometer on "MY" transporter. The mileage on it doesn't add up to a roundtrip to Florida. So, I guess you must be mistaken about "MY" transporter. Probably, the readers here would like to know that. It seems like a silly, little slip - but things aren't always what they seem. And, for the record - and some video of my own - anyone can view "MY" transporter at www.lowridecarriers.com. It was NOT used for this transaction - and I'll always regret it.

So, lets get back to that video. That's what everyone can't wait to see. Including me. Not one hour increments. You're right. That does sound boring. But what about the whole tape? The one you've told me repeatedly you would send to me? Where has that gone? Still waiting.

Anyway, according to this tape - the one no one has seen - my car WAS NOT MOVED AND WAS NOT DRIVEN - from the time I bought it until the time it was loaded onto YOUR transport vehicle. Sorry for the emphasis on the YOUR, but your readers have requested clarity. It is clear that the transportation vehicle was not mine. I have the paperwork on that. I know you do, too. But, I digress. Back to the problem. The delivery point on MY vehicle was Lake Forest Sports Cars in Lake Forest, Illinois. (For anyone out there who isn't aware of them, they are an authorized Ferrari - Maserati dealer of impeccable reputation).
This delivery point is where, and when, the car came into MY possession.
I requested that my vehicle be inspected when it arrived and an inspection was done promptly. This is old news to you daniel, but everyone else wants to know about the 98 additional miles that were on my car - my RARE, COLLECTIBLE CAR, as well as the undercarriage damage, scraping, etc., that I have already covered with you. They would probably love to hear that you blamed Lake Forest Sports Cars for taking my car on a "joyride". Lake Forest Sports Cars, of course, has video of the delivery and of the time my vehicle was being inspected. I have their full inspection report. I have the inspection report that I paid Tim Stanford for in Florida. They do not match. Neither do the odometer readings from the time of Tim Stanford's inspection, the odometer readings from time of purchase or the odometer readings from time of receipt.

I'm embarrassed to have been involved in this transaction, but if my name is so very important to help you remember who I am, then I'll just go by Brian, 512M. You know that there were other issues with this transaction, but I run a business and do not have all day to sit here and itemize them. At least not today.

So, finally, for the sake of clarity. You've said that you have video of the car on-the-hour not moving, but is it your statement that my car WAS NOT DRIVEN AT ALL until it was loaded onto your transport vehice? Please be very CLEAR on this. We don't want any false accusations placed in your world. Oh, and what day should I be expecting that video? I'll let the chat know how it looks after we've inspected it. I know we're both anxious to clear up this matter.

    Brian
512M (the yellow one - just to be clear)

So far the useful nuggets are that LRC bought a car, had it inspected at Tim Stanford's, transported to Chicago by Daniel's recommended carrier, and the car arrived with about 100 miles extra. Not terribly compelling, but at least the complaint is being made more clearly. Now was this a 300 mile car that now has 400 miles or a 14,000 mile car that now has 14,100 miles? To me there is a difference.

WHY DON'T YOU TELL YOUR STORY COMPLETELY FROM THE START!

Maybe the extra miles were put on my the carrier's employee's??

I know a Ferrari owner who caught a well know carrier using the car and actually damaged it.

1st photo-You sir sitting in my office purchasing the car you both paid to have inspected and you personally inspected.

2nd phot-Same time frame outside where the car was sitting when you finalized the deal.

3rd shot- about 1hr later car hasn't moved.

4th shot- end of day about an hour later the car was pushed inside to protect YOUR investment sir.

5th shot- 7:00 AM the following morning...It is obvious the car has not moved and no one was in the office yet.

To all the regulars. I apologize for having to do this in our usually comfy forum. I do have to protect myself and the company for which I work. You guys know I have no need to drive someones car after its sold. Does anyone think I'm that stupid? Puh Leeeeeeeeeeeeeez!!!! I will wait for anyones request for time and dates. It should be noted that the battery was dead from the time he left my office till about 2 hours before the transporter picked up the car. Oh, I have myself on video personally changing the battery for the client so his car did not arrive with a dead one. Customer service you know.

    Paul,
It's my security cameras. You know we keep about 3M in inventory. I have to have the surveillance for insurance and to protect ourselves. Most dealerships have this. It seems to have come in very useful in this case. Glad I have it.

Although the driver did not record the mileage he did pick the car for their protection. Here it is and none of the so called "damage" was recorded when by the driver.

This is a distinct possibility. However, they claim they know nothing. I have my proof on video yet he again believes them over me. I really don't care who he believes as the proof is being laid out in this forum by me.

I have no problem with information be passed as long as it is accurate.

I would like to know; assuming this was a third party transporter- what mileage they listed on the pickup? Any professional will not only get the mileage, but also do a review of any damage to the car.

I know this from experience, my vehicle was damaged after I purchased it and the transporter had listed everything on a review sheet that was signed at pickup. Fairly standard stuff. And it cleared everything up in my case.
    What did the transporter record?

    Bill
