this show is huge!

 

I will be there all week. It is WORK for me.

I have a booth at SEMA (StopTech) and a booth at AAPEX (Centric Parts).

I will be at the Centric booth Tues-Thursday and StopTech on Friday. (if anyone wants to stop by and say Hi.)

I have been going (to WORK) since 1984. Every Year.

SEMA is the biggest when it comes to performance, glitter, T and A, etc. Just huge. AAPEX is the aftermarket hard parts show. Not much performance and glitter, but the meat and potatoes of the business (and what feeds my family). This part of the Industry Week, as it is called, is in the Sands Convention Center (next to Venetian).

You want to see a really big show, go to Automechanika in Frankfurt sometime. It is held every 2 years. I just returned. This is a big show, held in the Messe, spread out in about 8 buildings, all multi-storied. Impossible to walk it all in a week. Covers all facets of the automotive industry, parts, supplies, equipment, manufacturer displays. (The new M coupe looks great in person). No, I dont have pics...

Anyway, SEMA/AAPEX week is killer.

 

There are some good parties happening THursday and FRiday night after the show. I for one plan on being in a wheel chair this year. THat place is huge. JJ

SEMA is for industry only right?

Anyone know how a poor little soul like me - with no industry connections - can get in?

I'm more than willing to do hard work - such as driving and parking someone's 430 in the showfloor?

You cant be poor and go. You must be connected. Sema has had a rep for letting every joe shmo in lately and this year they are cleaning up there mess. I would sudjest getting together with someone with a business and help out and get on the payroll so you can go. Hotels are 300 a night plus the time off to commit to going.. JJ
