I just ate a nice ribeye, rubbed with a mysterious concoction that cost $12.00 per pound.

    I drive a 2300lb Civic worth $10,000 or bout $4 per pound.

I covet a 330 GTC that weighs about 2500 lb and cost about $200K, or about $80 per pound.

I take Atenolol, a BP med 10mg BID at $25 per 400 or $2880 per pound (generic). This , BTW is one of the cheapest meds in the world, 5 times the cost of GOLD. .......Aside: Nerds: check my math.

I live in a house that I calculate is worth about $1.25 per pound.

Glad I don't live in the ribeye!

A 250 GTO will probably bring in $5,000+ per pound. Yikes!
