I used to have a TUBI from HS on my Mondial. Very loud and became irritating after a while on long trips - although te power gain and music were fantastic. Cost was SGD$7.5k + 5 years ago from HS - big bucks. Have just installed a Stebro on my current Mondial and it sounds good. Certainly the engine revs more freely. And it has removal silencers to adjust the noice level to suit your pref. All for SGD$3k landed. That said, I am sure HS will put on a Tubi on any post warranty Fcar if you ask them.
Hey FF. Breakfast? Maybe we can turn over to visit Clive on his project huh? But maybe it's not @ his home anymore. There was some bad press on Stebro sometime back, looks like they are back on business & yes, buyers raved about their products. I do agree loud exhaust can be irritating after a while esp a free-flow Challenge exhaust.
That is correct. But they not selling Tubi anymore. So unless u bring in ur own tubi, they will install. Then again, if u bring in your own there will be alot of workshops that can install it for you.
HS monopoly and sole agency rights.......better quality stainless (316 I believe vs 304) and much higher level of (bling!) finish....probably a better product overall but not enough to justify the premium.
hmmm.. I have done 3 tubi with HS and I don't remember it being so high. I think mine is made in china tubi.. hahaha
dun worry, as long as not made in Batu Pahat , its okay. I think my wife's accord's brake discs are made in Batu Pahat by an Ah Beng who does it part time.

Good morning guys. Back to reality on Monday now Now, we should do more simple morning meets, small group is fine with me & best if there's a drive before or after. Our cars are meant to be driven! Think the hokkien saying is "Jia Hong" hehee, keep the makan short & we go for group cruising on Sunday mornings when traffic is light & air is cool. Eg. Lim Chu Kang (can buy some vege in the farms if you're the homemaker type there), Mandai, Seletar airbase, Changi village, Kranji etc. Well, that's me & Singapore's too small to runabout anyway. Perhaps one person will take lead every weekend & change the next. What do you guys think? Thanks for the drink Eric. Oh think we forgot to take any pics!
