I always try and avoid Adam Sandler, his corny voices and is bland comedy is unfunny and predictable..

I watched a "best of" compilation of Adam Sandler ... laughed about 3 times in half an hour and then turned it off. I don't think he's that funny. Some of his movies were hilarious like Happy Gilmore... Billy Madison was ok, Anger Management had good moments. He's sometimes a funny actor but his comedian skits are no good.

I think the MI movies were good, all 3 of them. Last Samurai was also a good movie. I also liked War of the Worlds, and Eyes Wide Shut was strange but in a good way

    1. "Pirates of the Caribbean" (how much gheyer can it get?)
    2. "Home Alone" (ahh..... ok)
    3. "Star Trek"
    4. "Hairy Potter" (Harry or whateva)
    5. "Star Wars" (am i going to piss alot ppl off with this?)

anyone with me or am i being too extreme? but i just can't stand these movies... lol..

The original three are ok, I was 7 when the first one came out and thought it was wow, but the modern computer generated ones I thought were rubbish

Disagree with 1 and 2, haven't seen 3 for years. The first 3 Harry Potter movies were TERRIBLE, the acting sucked. The 4th one was pretty good. I agree with Star Wars too, I posted that earlier. The old school ones are good but the new ones are just terrible

ROCK STAR - Stupid, no real ending

8 Mile - Ending was seriously lacking

Pirates of the Carribean 3 - They should have ended it properly, I came out of the movie feeling like I lost something

Sin City - My friends and I came out of the movie feeling ill, and disturbed.

I actually thought Sin City was a success on a few levels; tried to be different and succeeded.

the original one is definitely better, it's the same plot, a number of the same songs, but a few differences here and there. gene wilder is a stud!

I think the first movie (which really, really was originally conceived as a single, stand-alone film) was a lively sci-fi version of LOTR. The mistake was generating a series of increasingly grotesque sequels/prequels, but that's $ for you.

    My two worst dreads are:

    (a) a really good, really successful new film, because you know it's then going to be sequel-$milked until it's wrung dry. Raiders of the Lost Ark, Superman and Batman come to mind. After Goldfinger the Bond films became an exercise in compounding absurdity.

    (b) Old classics which Hollywood decides are a "$-remake" bet. Night of the Living Dead, War of the Worlds, Willy Wonka are some of these. If a decision is ever made to redo Casablanca or The Man With the Golden Arm, I'm heading for the hills. :p

    1. 100% agree...both of them moronic wastes.

    2. Cute, OK at the time.

    3. Depends which one...objectively, the quality of the Trek films varies widely. If you don't like Star Trek, they're all bad, I guess.

    4. All suck, 100% agree.

    5. Same answer as for no. 3.

I'd say Waterworld was better than Battlefield Earth.
