i recently got my 328 after having it at the mechanic, the motor trimmer etc for the last 3 months so I took it out last Saturday afternoon for a spin and come to think about it, you just don't see them! have often have any of you seen 328's on the road lately?
hey, nice use of "Joek"ing... notice he's suspiciously and coincidentally quiet these days.... I said value...... not excellent at anything else.. but $4$, I'd take a Mond T and keep the change. And a T coupe rather than Cab of course, but T cabs are better than Mond 8/QV/3.2 cabs.

Papster was at work when this was posted. Otherwise I would have attacked FF like a seagull attacking your fish and chips on the beach. Mondial's(shudder when I mention that word) IMO.............look horrible. Downright slow hunks of junk. You wouldnt catch me dead in one unfortunately. Even though FF has redeemed himself by saying for the dollars it is better value than the 348. Id say not really mate. They are cheap on the market, because no one wants them. They are ugly and performance is average. 300HP, the same as 348, but the car weighs in at 1503kg, while my 348 is 1395kg. 0-100km/h 348 is quicker at 5.3seconds. Mondial T 0-100kmh/ is 6.3seconds. But all that means nothing to me. Alot of people like them, not sure about alot of people here, but I reckon they look ugly. That has forced them to be sold cheap IMO. The demand is not there, thats why the sell for $50K-$70K. Id rather pay the extra $40K buy a 348. Oh........I did. Crappy pic of the car........ Image Unavailable, Please Login
The longer wheel base and wider track of a Mond T make them a much nicer car to drive than a 348, and the power steering is also nice as the ratio is quicker than 348. ABS too. You can get (just) golf clubs in the boot too... Looks wise and outright performance... not even close. 348 wins easy, but hey looks ain't everything... you don't tickle the tappets while your tools are in the sump mate....
My 348 also has ABS. But your right mate, each to their own. I have never liked them, but doesnt mean the next guy wont want one. There are alot guys who love their Mondial's with alot of passion in the other thread on fchat. Just like I love my 348, and PP loves his 355CH and you love your Boxer.
Trust me.......the 2 extra seats you get in a Mondail are not worth it. Sexy girls or not! Simple solution........buy 2x348's. Both red/tan.

i couldnt bring myself to buy a mondial....it just doesnt do it for me would be like buying a boxster....obviously a great car in its own right...but destined to live in the shadows of its bigger brothers forever... strike 2 for mondial is i dislike the looks, whereas at least boxster s's on nice dished rims look pretty cool...
Hmmmm... It's on the hub flange, not CV as such, not sure I've seen that before... so maybe a modification if the hub shaft/nut is the split pin type to allow easy access of split pin, instead of peened nut like later cars.
