I know, I know, not a bright idea. Dented the front fender, passenger door (strakes okay) at the bottom, chipped front and rear fender... Tore up some poor guys front yard (thankfully, very understanding). Don't know if I should make an insurance claim (Leland West), but could use some recommendations for a body shop. and stop laughing!!

I wouldn't unless you plan on keeping it forever!! A very small crash that shows up on a Carfax will kill 75% of anyone intrested in the car down the road...

While it's in the shop, check your alignment and tire age.

My 328 was a handful in the wet when I bought it, but a four wheel alignment and new S03s lets it handle just fine in rain.

That doesn't look good, but it sounds like it could have been a lot worse.

Sorry & hope you get it fixed up quick

    OUCH!

    Dave,
I just had the 308 rust issues fixed by a local shop.
East Coast Automotive on Rt. 40 ( Pulaski Hwy.)
They mostly do custom metal/restoration work on older American cars.
Doesn't hurt to talk to them.

not to hijack your thread, but i just walked in from wrecking my 70 challenger t/a. coming back from richard's house i swerved to miss a dear standing in the middle of the road. swung around at 50mph and clipped an oncomming car. nobody was hurt and the damage wasn't so bad. so i'll be looking for a good muscle car body shop too. and the ever elusive sheet metal. i'm gonna go mix a drink now.

    Man, sorry to hear that!
    Glad nobody was hurt.

East Coast does muscle cars. They had a 1966 Dodge in there getting a custom paint job while mine was there. And like Darron said you can always get a trim job next door while you wait.
