I recently purchased a 2002 575M from Ferrari of Denver. As part of the deal they agreed to pay for the removal of the poorly installed clear bra and the installation of a new one. When I called to schedule it they said they'd send the installer to my house in Boulder County rather than have me drive down there. While removing the old one some of the paint on the bumper came off with the bra. Oops! It did not appear to be the installer's (deinstaller's?) fault, but rather poor prep prior to the original paint application. I figured a) the car is almost 5 years old, b) FOD certainly wasn't at fault, and c) life's too short, so I just let it go. A couple of weeks later the installer was at the dealership and mentioned the incident, which, of course, they were completely unaware of. To make it short, they called and insisted that they be given the opportunity to check it out. They picked up the car for free, and after looking at it said they would pay for the paint job, even though I never complained about it or requested that they pay for all or part of it. It doesn't get any better than that. Mr. Stewart really stepped up to the plate and it speaks volumns about this dealer's customer service philosophy. Derek in sales and John in service were both involved in making contact with me and encouraging me to let them get involved. I have had nothing but good experiences with them in the past and this is the iceing on the cake. Well done, FOD!

I'll add my 2 cents about FOD. I bought an Fcar from Ferrari of Denver and it was the best experience with an auto dealer I've ever had, EVER. Everyone there from Derek, John, Mark, Jeff, Mr. Stewart and expecially the mechanics (Bill) have been absolutely great. So you see not all Fcar dealers are jerks.

I completely agree. I bought a car from them, sold one to them and they serviced my Ferrari for three years. They still send me parts and free advice and tech help up here in Alaska. Made owning a Ferrari nearly stress-free in Colorado. I am traveling to Denver on business and it is one of my first stops to say hello to the gang.

Jeff in service is a true asset. I talk to him at least once a week. Without him, owning a Ferrari in Alaska would not be possible for me. All are on my invite list for fishing up here. Hope to get Bill from service up here and catch some big fish.

    Mule,

Great to hear. I just KNEW there were Ferrari owners in Alaska. I told a co-worker of mine who lives in Anchorage that THEY were there somewhere but she said she can't remember ever seeing one.
Also I've spent 4 summers up there working and just loved it. Hope you get the guys at FOD to come up because they will not believe it.

There are at least six up here in Anchorage. Getting close to putting mine up for the winter. Where is your co-worker? I will park outside her office.

Haven't had it out in a week or so. Heck, it might be snowing by next week, and she has to wait until Spring.

I bought my 360 from FoD and have had it serviced there as well. I'm glad that others have had as good an experience with them that I have had.

Thanks for the kind words James (where's the blush icon? :)) So you sold the Viper, eh? I can't wait to find you the right Ferrari (360, perhaps?) I recall the first time I met you several years ago when you'd ride your motorcycle to the dealer and purchase stickers...I look forward to the opportunity of selling you a Ferrari!

I am reading a report from that address on Fourpeaked Volcano activity. Does she work at USGS AVO (Alaska Volcano Observatory)?

    Mule,

She does work for the USGS but not for the volcano observatory. She works for a different Division/Team within the USGS.
I'll tell her she'll have to wait 'till spring to see your beautiful ride.
