    can somebody help me?
I am thinking in buying a 2nd hand 360 F1 but it seems to be much more expensive to maintain that 360 manual gearbox. Is it true? How much could be the difference? Does F1 breaks more frequently?

Use the search funtion, multiple threads cover this.
Imo F1 is superior and more expensive as well, in Sweden it´s actually hard to sell a stick 360.

My advice? Drive both. I researched for a year on here, asking a zillion questions, researching all the threads. People were tired of me asking so many questions. After all of my research was complete, I was convinced that the F1 was the way to go. When I was ready to purchase, I drove an F1, then a 6-speed. It took me all of two minutes to realize that an F1 car was the last thing I wanted to own, and it took me another two minutes behind the wheel of a 6-speed to develop a huge smile on my face that I couldn't wipe off for two hours. I promptly bought a 6-speed.
Not trying to bash F1's here; my point is that all the researching in the world cannot replace a five minute test drive.

I couldn't agree with Mike more. I drove both and decided on the 6-speed.

Take a drive in both then decide. If you like, search this site for the vast amount of threads on this topic. Easier if you just go for a drive.

Using the term "gearbox" is misleading, especially to newbies. The gearbox is the same for both versions. "F1 system" is a more appropriate term to use.

Unfortunately, english speakers also use the term "F1 gearbox". We need more people to say "F1 system".

Isn't it much simpler if we understand it as in car adverts.

If a car is advertised as either F360 F1 or F430 F1 we know it is paddle shift, otherwise it is manual change!

If you are concerned about clutch life, 6 speed is the better choice.

everyone has their opinion, of course. You need to drive both. If you want to drive fast or track it the F1. If you are just pleasure driving, the 6 speed is more fun in my opinion.

never have, never will.. unless it's an Enzo of course :) Even then, I think I would just opt for the F40 instead :)

Speaking of which, does anyone know if they made any Enzo's with a manual gear box?

I owned a 360 F1 Spider, and I am going back to a 6 Speed if I were to buy another 360. It is just more involving being able to shift for yourself. Having said that, after driving a 430 with an F1, I would not get a Manual in that car as the F1 has been perfected IMHO. All the systems on the 430 seem to work in step with the F1.
