People in Vancouver think that vancouver is the best place in the world hahaha i just laugh at them now,you know why you guys say that,one of the reasons is that maybe you havent seenanywhere else in the world or maybe you are jealous of the big cities,and you want to stick with you tiny little crapy place because you are affraid of the big cities and more lively people and you want to stick with your relaxed gloomy personality and by the way toronto is a much cleaner,more modern and a much more beautiful place than vancouver just to let you know,in case that you think toronto is not a green city haha you are soooo wrong there is green everywhere here.If you are thinking of the natural scenaries just to let you know Ontario has the most number of lakes IN THE WORLD.There is about hundreds of thousands of lakes in Ontario.

wow - you're gloomier and angirer than I thought. Who said anything about big cities being better (or worse), or I wanted to be lively.

I've been lots of bigger cities - as have everyone here. Lots of cities are bigger than TO, and I wouldn't want to live there either. Seoul at maybe 18m is the largest city I've spent time in, and turned down $'s to work there. No doubt China and India make it look tiny. Although would admit that Auckland could of worked.

KDS will take Rio over TO - but that's an unfair comparison.

Wow - Mr Lip, that's no fun. Expo86 was going to bankrupt us all too - and cause irrefutable labour disruption (remember the wildcat provincial strike protesting non-union workers?). the world was ending! Olympics will be cool - just like it was for Calgary. And won't bankrupt us - most of the expenditures is for stuff we need anyways. I was down on the S2S Hwy taking all my tight twisties away, but the new Autobahn from W.Van to Porteau Cove might just be ok after all.

No argument the druggies and street life is getting out of control.

I think you is just bein jealous of Vancouver. The most lakes in the world pfft we got da Pacific Ocean.

BTW a few years back Vancouver was #1 city in the world and today it still remains in the Top 5. Now we can't say the same about Toronto can we

 

-First your comparing Vancouver to Toronto, then Vancouver to Ontario, make up your mind, lets just compare Ontario to BC then.

-Yeah it rains alot here, thats why our city has such a visible skyline unless we have a hot streak even then its still not that bad.

-What other city can you go from the Mountain, to Downtown and the beach in 20 mins.

-Its one of the most densest cities in N/A, only behind New York, San Fran. and Mexico City. I dont know what this point means to you I just think its an interesting fact.

For the record, I love this city and I couldn't see myself living anywhere but here or Zurich and Geneva in Switzerland which funnily enough are way up there in quality of life along with Vancouver.

Compared to Vancouver, Toronto is an armpit of Canada (With Edmonton being the other). You cannot compare the two cities.

Re: Vancouver's better than Toronto and Toronto's better than Vancouver. It's a pointless pissing match, a bit like Lamborghini vs. Ferrari . Forget about the statistics and all that glitzy PR stuff, what's important is living in a place that makes you happy -- in the end that's what really matters because you only get to live once so you might as well enjoy it to it's fullest.

Brother, that's all good. Everyone has their opinion and a mature way to state it (as you did). You have every right to say your city, province is the best. Why not, everyone has the right to be proud as I am being from Toronto.

I personally would love to visit BC. If I didnt like it, I would NEVER say some of the coments I have read here on this thread about Toronto. Some of you must think you are on seasamestreetchat.com with comments like that.

Anyone know or can recommend a local shop able to perform the 30K service? I recently had service done at Ferrari Maserati and I am not impressed with the service (mind you I showed up looking like crap in gym clothes - my day off - but it's no excuse when you're talking to the techs to chase down the root cause and they insinuate that you're wasting their time because you're not cool with the bill)...
