Gorgeous! That might work for me too. In my case, it has to be able to defend itself against weld splatter... Ideally, I'd take the tile 4' up the wall to the bottom of my Slatwall. http://www.rfdm.com/albums/album41/csc_056a.jpg
Ferraristi, I don't even have a garage, but a carport... Does anyone know the exact colour scheme of the painting of the Ferrari dealerships? Wasn't it red, yellow, red and white (from ground to ceiling)? Gr. Martin
Not much holds up to weld splatter, I have had it stick to glass doors, headlights, and it will destroy concrete. I would buy a piece of you favorite tile and expirment. I use a scrap of sheetrock to do gas and arc welding on to protect the floor. Its cheep and easy to throw away when you do finially burn it up Doug

very nice! just out of curiosity, do you hire a painter to paint the walls with the ferrari symbols on them, or do you somehow do it yourself?
Thanks Doug. I learned the hard way about glass; sparks from a 4" grinder and the side window of an Austin-Healey I'm thinking along the lines of that reddish clay looking tile you see in industrial kitchens. I'll try to get a full tile as a sample and see if I can destroy it I throw down some thin 1/8" pieces of plywood (it was the cover sheets from my slatwall purchase) when I spray on the replacement undercoating on the BMWs I work on. Using a piece of sheetrock is certainly economically feasible! Thanks again, Randy
Good job! The names on the wall are the crowning touch; as I read them off, my mind travels to what each one means to me...
Thank you. I actually hired a graphic artist who worked with me on the design. She then painted all you see.

Pete I used Kiwi Tiles which are made of polypropylene. Installed two years ago they look like new. Very impressive considering the harsh winters we have here in the upper midwest of the US. When spring arrives I drag them out and give them a good power wash. Here's the link: http://www.kiwitile.com/products/
Office looks incredible as well... Where in NY are you located Harmony? I'll be in New York City after Christmas for 2 weeks or so. Keep me updated.
We are located on the northshore of long island about 30-40 min out of manhatten. We close for a month during the holidays but send us an email as we get closer, I would love to give you a tour.
That's not to far away from Manhattan. I would love to have a tour and will definately come into contact with you whenever I come into town. Thanks !
