C6 Z06 beats F430 while being in the wrong gear!!!..*Video*

sorry if i m rude but i don't like when poeple come to some forum and writte sh.., i m not going to corvette or mustang forum to say bad thing about their car...

 

well that's true anyway i m not against corvette or other car I m against poeple who just come here to writte sh.. about ferrari you know what I mean..

 

I think you are the one that just qualified as low class. Class has nothing to do with how much you can spend on a car. I know people that drive Neons that have more class than you.

 

Who cares. Were hear to talk about cars, not to suck on the tit that is Ferrari. The only way Ferrari get better is by getting their a$$ kicked on occasion. I love Ferraris with my every breath. I am a true Ferrari nut but I still love to drive, own and compare other cars.

My 125 CC shifter kart can run circles around both cars, but hey its a go-kart. Same thing the ZO6, great car and extremely fast. But at the end of the day its just a Corvette. Ferrari is in a different league all together, can't compare them. Majority of people out there can't tell the difference between a ZO6 and a standard Corvette. But a Ferrari, everyone knows a Ferrari, who cares about the performance.

 

The majority of people out there can't tell the difference between a 360 and a 360CS. What does that have to with anything? And we can compare them and we do. They're sports cars. What the heck else would they be good for. Enzo Ferrari meant for his cars to be driven and raced, not to be a mantle piece to brag about, yet never tested. He once said, "Ferrari owners are not neccessarily Ferrari drivers". I'm a driver, what are you? I do agree that the overall package that Ferrari offers is well above a Z06 and just about every other car out there but it's still fun to compare. You just can't get your feelings hurt when Ferrari doesn't win all.

 

Before I make a judgement - are you serious? I hear of people who really believe that shi..t and they generally have one friend (their mirror).

 

I do think it's great the Z06 has taken most of the moder n ferrari design eliments from the last 10 years or so.

+1, if you look at the 84 Corvette(C4) it looked like Jerry Palmer wanted to create a Front Engine Boxer with Corvette Styling Clues. Most of the Head Design guys at GM also own Ferraris and have a lot of respect for Pinninfarina's designs.

if so, there is a little sports car race this weekend that might highlight the struggling 7 liter vettes prowess!! watch it dance on the ferrari 430 (risi car) and every other car short of the fastest LMP cars.

well sure it runs in a different (see: Faster) class than the 430 in alms but if you are a vet fan, the z-06 is a real throw back to race on sunday and sell on monday! the z-06 is a total package and an incredible race car platform!

 

oh and btw, if the z-06 had a ferrari badge on it...we would all love it! it is a nicer looking car than most of what ferrari is currently mass producing.

btw...i am not a vet fan at all but the car is bad azz to the point that i actually worry about them only getting faster if/when gm decides to kill all comers w/ a zr-1 version!!!

People who drive Corvettes and Mustangs are atleast middle class people. Lowclass are those who have to settle for something "Cheap" such as a Honda or Toyota. Get it straight before you start labling.

If GM is currently have finiancal issues right now that would be asking for them to go out of business. People complained about the new Corvettes being expensive, I know I was one of them and they are selling Z06's for about 60k and I heard them talking about a "blue devil" which is gonna be selling for 100k which I don't see people buying in to it at all.

If chevy is to sell anything that costs 200k, It would have to be the Aero renamed and rebadged as a Chevy Corvette rather than the SSC Aero that would be a durect competetor for the Ford GT.

 

I already love the vette the way it is because its the best sportscar in my opinion. I think it still looks better than the F-430.

I really hope if GM releases this Blue Devil that they change the name to the ZR-1 then yes they will have me lined up at the local chevy dealer.

 

As a Ferrari/ Z-06 owners, I am presently selling my 360, waiting for a 430 in a couple of months, and am on a "very long" wait list for the 600+hp , approximately 3,000 (race ready) so called "blue devil". If the stats on the car are even close, it is worth over $100,000 easy.

So as not be accused of being some 5 year old with acne, I have enclosed a picture of my Vette and Ferrar.

quite presumptuous! a lot of that going around lately... WE? who's "we"? with the badge, it would also need something other than a pushrod engine, it would have to sound like a ferrari, "drive" like one, have an interior worthy of a modern F-car. and it being "nicer looking" well, everyone is entitled an opinion. and then there's that word again..."faster"...indeed they would kill all comers with an even faster car...one with a high quality interior, high general fit and finish, etc...

secondly, racing car comparisons...um, that's not a very good example to back up your pt. the Vettes are factory backed machines(a very big diff)that are vastly diff from their road going brethren, racing in another very different class. should ferrari care enough to put the 599 in the fight, with adequate support, and the vettes kick their butts all over the place, then your example there wound be a good one i suppose...

lastly...what does the "class" of a person have to do with the kind of cars they drive? are you(those of you who are throwing that word around) referring to the socioeconomic class of an individual? or if you're implying it in a different manner(which i hope you're not), then that's just plain biggotry, and elitist, and stupid.

btw, i also happen to like the vette, a lot. but for what it is. it happens to have a big ass engine with tons of power...although i wouldn't go sofar as to say it's the best sportscar.

 

Here is a funny video that shows the build quality of the new Z06, the roof came loose on the freeway so the guy rips it off completely and it looks like it's made of tin foil... the best part is while he is doing it, Ferrari's and Lambo's are flying by in the background, especially one 355 at the end that sounds like a freekin F1 car.

It's made of maganesium. What's the 430s made of? And the Lambo probably byrned to the ground a mile later. All cars have their problems, especially first yr cars.

 

my friends Z06 when he shifted into 3rd gear the roof came off, it had 3,000miles only, now i know how it looked like!!!
that happened 2 months ago and i thought something was wrong with his car only, a defect or something, i guess its the quality then
