Go the spacers Pap, the car looks heaps fatter in the rear What sort of spacers are they? the hub-centric ones by H&R? I got a set of 25mm H&R hub centric ones on my car, just for the looks looks fat
The Hill Engineering ones from ricambiamerica are the go they reckon. But my mate with the tyre w/shop reckons to use good bolt on ones. Dont just space them out. Use spacers that can be bolted to the hub and then have the wheel bolts bolt into the spacer using the same length wheel bolts.
Yeah that'd be the go. Like these: http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/2488/dsc2195yw6.jpg http://img244.imageshack.us/img244/1410/dsc2196uu0.jpg Apparently the hubcentric ones take the pressure of the wheel studs? Are you getting new wheels for it as well?
I was going to get some 5 spoke 19's. They looked cool. But the guy on ebay never got back to me about the questions I asked regarding the offest ect.... They were only $1800 too. Looked cool. Very similar to these wheels in the pic. Yeah, the shorter the wheel bolt/studs the better they reckon. Thats why the bolt on spacers are the go. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Don't go 19"s mate.. it'll make your brakes and suspension look crap and the ride quality/tyre choice is bad/expensive. it'll snowball into a major spend to make it nice... rear spacers only is nice for 348.
Maybe pappy will get 348mm Brembo's all round with 8 piston calipers. Im a poser FF, you should know that by now mate. Do you agree on 25mm spacers for the rear mate?
Pap just black your tyres, take a couple coils off the springs and youll be happy cutting laps of Isa much to the chagrin of FF et al
Yeah man. They will bolt straight on. They are 18's. I was thinking of that. I like 512TR wheels better. I think yellafella had some 355 wheels for sale? Not sure if he still has them?
