It would be fun to see a bunch of Ferraris/exotics driving their cars in a race manner on a tight course such as an autox. Put the polishing cloths away and put your driving gloves on! Lets do this.

Season runs into November so I am proposing a date in mid-October. A month to plan, a month to recruit fchat people.

October 14 in Englishtown. Sounds like C6DVL and Shivam are in. We have American, German, and Japanese vehicles. We need a few Italians to equal things out. :D

Good read for first timers or people interested: http://www.sfrscca.org/solo2/faq/auto.htm

    Checklist: http://autox4u.com/check.htm

I am going to call out a few regular posters I see in this forum in the next few days. :D

I used to take the Mondial out and do Autox with it. I'm a member of the local and national Jaguar clubs, and we do what is called a "slalom", which is a fixed course design, measured precisely, to allow for national comparison of times. I've done that with the Mondi and expect to do it with the 308 as well. This Sunday, we will be doing the slalom in Manville, NJ (see the slalom events calendar on www.jcna.com). I will be driving my XKE, not the Ferrari. But non-Jags are welcome and we have previously invited the Ferrari club to join in, so anyone interested in giving it a try, come on out.

    Regards,
    Steve

I Autox'd an RS4. (Not mine, mind you, but I will track mine.) You'll want coil-overs.

^ Congrats on your purchase. Hope you enjoy it. Nogaro blue is definitely the best color for the S4. :)

Well, I'm going this weekend on the 14th.

its actually more like a wet dream...ok probably too much information, but yeah its a great car. I really love the B5 platform but alot of them are getting tired out. They were great cars but really took alot of stress and abuse with everyone moding the crap out of them. But damm, some of those stage III ones were blazing fast.
