    Dear Fellow F-Chatters,

In one months time I will be leaving home for Auckland, New Zealand to represent the United States in the opening round of the New Zealand Toyota Championship series, the top open-wheel ‘development’ series in the world.

For those of you who don’t know who I am, my name is Michael Johnson and I am a 23 year old racing driver from Texas with the dream and goal of winning the Formula 1 world championship. I started racing in karts and have raced against (and beat many) of the top talents in the business; Scott and Alex Speed, Nelson Phillipe, AJ Allmendinger, Colin Braun, Bobby Wilson, and Phil Giebler to name a few. After I graduated high school, with the commercial significance to motorsports, I put on hold my passion of being a professional open wheel racing driver and made the decision to acquire a marketing degree. I am now less than a year from graduating and things are clicking into gear to make a full assault on Formula 1.

Although I have staying busy in karts, race instructing, and racing SCCA; the New Zealand Championship series represents my first step into professional open wheel motorsports. Rather than having a few major corporate sponsors I have opened up sponsorship to anyone with $500 bucks and a passion for motorsports and being a part of a winning team. I will carry your name (or business) on my race car in New Zealand, send you an MJ Drive shirt which was created by Kevin Paige (www.kevinpaigeart.com), a poster from the car in action, and a subscription to my newsletter. If this sounds like an exciting proposition I would be honored for you to join my team.

If $500 is a little steep for you but you still want to contribute I would happily send you an MJ Drive shirt for a $50 contribution.

For more information on the program please check out my website at www.mjdrive.com
If you are ready to join the team send a check to: PO Box 306518 Denton, TX 76203

Best wishes and thank you for your support and those of you who have already joined the team (Rob, Will, Jim, and Phil).

    Michael Ryan Johnson,

The all new official MJ Drive shirts are here.

Writerguy will be along shortly to post photos of shirts on scantily clad super models. I am very happy with how they turned out.

The shirts are black with MJ Drive. One Dream. One Goal.
across the center of the chest.

The back of the shirts carries the Texas Flag and a Formula 1 car with artwork by Red Bull F1 team contracted artist Kevin Paige.

T-shirts are 100% free with a donation to the MJ Drive to New Zealand fund ($50 is encouraged).

    Mail checks to:
