I'm in the hunt for a new queen size bed and was wondering if you had any suggestions for interesting designs and good quality mattresses? What has your experience been with different brands? Do they last?

I took a test provided by Kingsdown mattresses, which measures the weight distribution of your body. It produced a nice little graph and 3D color "pressure profile". :)

I'm 5'9, athletic build, no aches or pains, even weight distribution with a normally curved spine.

    I kinda like this one:

Most comfortable bed I have ever owned. Firmness is infinitley adjustable and the bed will never wear out or sag over time.

I fell asleep at a mattress store on a tempurpedic, to bad it was near closing time and I had to leave. Get the one that has the massage and vibrator--that should make your love life interesting!

Best bed I ever slept in was at a Marriott Courtyard hotel. In fact, I slept SO well, that I ripped the tag off of the mattress (with TOTAL disregard for the law, of course) to see who made such a fine item. It was made by a company called Jameson Bedding. Apparently they make beds for the Royal Family in England, and rightly so..

Marriott has had so many requests from people as to where they can buy these mattresses (they're foam), that they actually began selling them (known as the "Marriott Bed") on their website. I wasted no time when I found this out and bought a new king size. It was $1,400 and the price drops by $100 for each size down from a king. Check into a Courtyard for a night (make sure they have these awesome beds) and give it a try for yourself. I would be confident it'll be the best sleep you'll experience.

    Cheers,
    Aaron
