That's just a file photo as they say. I wonder what Jet-X knows about this?

It would be great if it was the blue car. :)

Unless the white one from Indonesia just showed up or one that is currently for sale in Japan (yes, there is one for sale ~ $330k USD), it's the blue one.

I think the blue Cizeta and the Nazca are both ex-Bruneï cars (I'm quite sure the Cizeta is one of two made for the Bruneï).

How many Cizetas were made?? Do they still build them??

I really dont know much about them other than the V16 and they look a lot like a Diablo.

Sorry for exposing my ignorance on this car, but how do you learn but asking?

    Thanks,

    Patrick

There were only 8 built before they went out of business, and he built two others afterwards. So at least 10 total.

You can still have one built:

Though pricing is 649k for the coupe and 849k for the spyder. Definatly not worth it IMO considering the looks aren't that great (very 80s-ish) and the performance figures aren't that spectacular either.

One of three made, and the blue one was never delivered to the Sultan. It still has delivery miles.

There is a white cizeta in Indonesia? Never saw/heard of it. All I know was a white Vector W8 a long time ago

Yes - it's still there as far as we know. Very similar to the prototype (white, red interior, and the cheese graters instead of boomerangs for air intake)

Design was very similar to the diablo protoypes before the Chrysler design team melted the shape, so its unadulterated Gandini. If I remember correctly the engine was based on two ferrari v8's there were two cranks linked via a gear whic also provided the drive. It was supposed to be an easy to service uncomplicated supercar, recession of the early 90's killed it.

Since most supercars are about implied power(not really usable on the road) looks and wow factor(excepting real performance cars trackable like the mclaren f1,enzo and saleen) the cizeta is still interesting and at 700k less than a bugatti. As an ultimate in excess its still pretty cool.

Aside from the rarity factor, a Dodge Viper has all those qualities and more for 5-600k less than the Cizeta, or 1.3M less than the Bugatti. Or, for a little bit more you could pick up yourself a Murcie or Carrera GT, which again beat it aside from the rarity factor.

You also forget about the aesthetics too (the 'look'). Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I could also buy an EVO for much less than a Viper and equal it in performance too.

Same here. I didn't know anything until now. Yes, very reminiscent of a Diablo. Personally, I would prefer this V-16 over the Veyron.

Actually I didn't forget about the aesthetics. Like I said, the Viper beats it in every quality, especially looks. You're right though, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Looks better than an XJ220 interior, but that's about it. :p

I think its already been stated, but this particular car never actually made it to the Sultans collection, even though it was ordered by him originally.

I have yet to see something out of Detroit that actually screams anything that is remotely close to what they charge, Viper included.

And the new Viper? You mean the new Saturn Sky :D

Haha. Fair enough :). I'm not saying that the interior of GM, Daimler-Chrysler, or Ford are the greatest either, but the interior of a Viper (let alone a Sky for that matter) looks better than a Cizetta. Keep in mind though, I'm referring to current day Cizettas. IIRC, they were around $300-350k when they originally came out? That was a much better price point.
