Hello, name's Damir, I've recently made the decision to drop out of college only one year shy of graduating with a degree in Mech. Engineering. 3 months ago I made up my mind to become a writer and thus I quit doing what my parents envisioned for me, and went forward with what I wanted to do.

I am on track to selling my first body of work by February of next year at which time I will buy a Challenge Stradale. It is worth noting that I have been a Lambo lover since the Diablo debued in the early 90's, but since the CS came out I was just drawn to F cars more and more.

I love the CS, I think it is the BEST all around vehicle ever made and I doubt that it will ever be beaten in terms of a perfect package in a car.

    Well, that's me. Cheers

Hi my name is Steve......living in Naperville, IL. Having spent most of this Summer at various car gatherings, I have really come to love the look/sound/smell/tast of the 360. Not that I did not before, but to spend time around these cars is intoxicating to me. I bought the NSX on a whim, but think I am better off educating myself on Ferrari before bringing one home. So thanks for making FerrariChat, a great resource available to the world and me.......Steve

    Hey All,

I'm Jim, I've been hoping to buy a Ferrari since '03 but bought an '02 Z06 instead of a 348. I just bought a Ram SRT-10 for daily driving and am selling the Z. I plan on banking whatever I can (after investing some) every month in hopes of picking up a used 360 when I retire (5 years from now). I've found this site a great source of knowledge.

    Thanks,
    Jim

    Hello,
I am Joe, live in Michigan 'the self destructing state'. Been lurking (learning) for quite a long time, looking for my first (355) with a turtle like pace. Keep getting distracted. This board has been great and a wealth of information. Without it, I would have had my 355 by now, thanks to it, I will get a better one... if I can just get over a few fears regarding maintentance.

PS The Maserati Spyder is by far the best daily driver I have ever owned. Would recommend it to anyone.

    Lurk ya Later....

About your 328, was it nice way to start out ? Lots of us might think about starting with an afforable 3x8, the 328 get the best reviews. How was it for you? Thanks, leslie.

Hello everybody! I'm a 29 year old IT guy and basically spend my time making data centers work and their owners rich. I've been a professional lurkist of car forums for a long long time and finally joined this one 5 months ago. I haven't been a Ferrari fan all my life. In fact I started out with the Honda crowd thinking "why would I spend 200 grand when I can build a Civic that's just as fast for 20 grand."

    Yeah, I know.

You spend enough time and headaches trying to make commuter cars fast and start to realize it's not just how fast it can go from point A to B. Since then I finally got it and have been a huge fan of Ferrari since. In fact I've frequented Ferrari of Washington just to stare and drool. They probably think I'm crazy. Anyways I found this site searching for investment information of all things.

I would LEAP at the chance to get behind the wheel of one of these. I'll own one some day, and being 6'5" makes it difficult to buy an older one, but I'm not giving up! Until then I'll be here and lurking :)

Hi there! I am a huge Ferrari fan, and have been for most of my life. The earliest i can remember falling in love with a Ferrari was seeing an F50 on Television as a child and ever since have i loved the Prancing Horse. I support Ferrari in motorsports and love their roadcars. I hope that one day i can but a Ferrari myself, i would like a 360 but i think i may purchase a 400i and bring it back by restoring it. That unfortuntly will not be for a long time yet :(

    Anyway, great forum guys!

Hello to all! I am not new to the Ferrari world, but am new to this community. I just joined and have yet to still figure out the system, but I'll get there. Anyway, just wanted to say hi. I'll have a profile up and running soon enough. I live in the NY/NJ area too.

    Cheers

Welcome to all the lurkers that post here. While mostly entertaining and informative, sometimes this place can get a little intimidating. Please post as often as you can, the more info / humor on this site the better it is IMHO. So many new Rossa subscribers here, I am really impressed!

*raises hand* I'm not a total lurker as I do post occasionally here and there. I try to stay out of things I have no business posting about because I do not own a Ferrari. My name's Steve, I'm 22 and I'm an Aviation Electrical Technician and Basic Aircrewman, working on Flight Mechanic, in the US Coast Guard. I've been in a little over two and a half years and I love it, though I'm not sure how long I'll stay in. I drive a pearl white 2001.5 Audi S4 Avant, with a few mods. Pictures can be seen here:

Thanks for letting me hang around! The level of passion here on FChat is great to see, and this is a very civil forum. I'm surprised at how few flame wars / troll attacks / spam messages and so on break out!

I'm new to this list and probably in the market for a 348, 355 or 360. I am the proud owner of a 1947 MG TC and have had the sports cars addiction from about the age of thirteen, which is now more than a few decades ago.

I was invited to exhibit at a concourse a few years ago with the TC and found the Ferrari owners to be some of the most pleasant of the exhibitors at the event. Judging from the posts I have read so far, this does seem to be a pleasant group. I am looking forward to joining in one of the Northern California events some time in the near future.

Hello, my name is Sid Shrestha. Originally from Nepal, been in the US for about 12 years now. I don't own a Ferrari, got hooked/obsessed with them after suprisingly playing the game Need for Speed 3 where they had the 550 Maranello. The car was the most beautiful design I had ever seen. I'm only 22 so have yet to mature. I own a '03 TL-S, and my hobby is staring at cars I adore. Hopefully someday in the future, I'll post a thread, "Dream come true." :)

I am an Avionics graduate also. I only managed to enjoy fixing "beater cessnas" for an airline school for about a month. I am just a techician and a small buisness owner now. Just saying hello to a fellow aviation person. :) PS nice car.
