    Hi all,

Thought I would post some pics of the calipers we just did for Brian Crall. They came to the "world headquarters" of Girodisc in sunny southern California about a week ago and we just shipped them back this afternoon. The before pictures are how they looked after we scrubbed on them for quite a while. They were NASTY. The fronts were Brembo F50 calipers from a big brake kit and the rears were stock F360. The after pictures cannot do justice to how nice they looked. We can do any color, any sticker.

We offer a complete, surgical cleaning, basecoat, sticker, clearcoat repainting service for all calipers. We also have genuine Brembo seals and dust boots to rebuild calipers. We have the pad retaining pins and anti-rattle spring steel inserts, bleed screws and caps.

If you want a simple repaint or a full rebuild/restoration, we can help.

    Thanks,

    Martin

It takes roughly 1 week from when we get them to shipping them back out. For a repaint.

    Absolutely beautiful work.

Could I assume that if you did that for Jessica Simpson the name would then read:

    "BIMBO"?!!

The paint is standard automotive base coat with a specially formulated clear made specifically for painting calipers. Normally, under high temp exposure, the clear turns yellow first and then the basecoat will darken somewhere higher than that. These are going to handle heat better than the stockers or some other rattle can alternative. It's not BBQ paint, but the quality of the finish looks like a mirror.

Looks good except for the bleeder valve (I think that's what it is). Why not replace that screw & cap so it looks new like the rest of the caliper?

Cost varies on application and services wanted, PM us for pricing.

I can repaint those crusty old calipers Steve. In fact, we work with a rebuilder for those Iron jobbies, and could probably send you finished calipers and a core charge, send yours back for the refund.

The bleeders are available, as are new spring clips and pins. This customer did not ask for them.

Thanks to all for the compliments!

Those will clean up but as Martin said for a couple of bucks you can get new.

    Thanks Martin, they look great.
