    now that I have my first Ferrari, it's time to make the old garage look better. So I've put up some sheetrock and now I am ready to paint.

    Anybody out there painted their garage walls to match their red/tan car? How did you match the exact color shades? I am thinking yellow background with red racing stripes...

    any idea how can match exactly the Ferrari red? And the matching yellow, for that matter. Is there a Sherwin Williams color code for example, or a competitor's code that will exactly match?

    I tried to get the color codes but since they(ferrari) use an automobile brand of paint and depending upon who you go to they usually cant convert the codes to their own colors. So I basically took two of my model cars to Colorwheel Paint and they matched it perfectly. Close enough for me for the garage anyways.

    Be sure to post some pics when you get it painted. I hadn't thought of paintingmy garage like that till I saw this thread sounds kind of interesting.

    status update on my garage: drywall in place and two layers of white primer applied!

    I will try and get the paint matching issue sorted out and report back when I hopefully find a solution.
