I was on hand (in the passenger seat) for The Last Drive of BrianC's F355 today. The idea of posting here isn't so much to give Brian grief for selling his incredible car, but to enhance the feelings of remorse.

In a testament to his willpower, I should note that Brian didn't start talking about getting another Ferrari for at least an hour and 10 minutes after these photos were taken, and we didn't go near any Ferrari dealers for fully 2 1/2 hours.

"Giving grief" is more of point-in-time sort of focused, short-term and immediate kind of calculated manipulation of emotions, while "remorse enhancement" is more of a sustained, delayed reaction sort of emotional seeding kind of thing with a deliberate yet subtle feigned serendipity.

    Obviously totally different.

For future fun and investment-Dino, 512BB, see if Duncan sold his Boxer. I wonder why TR's have not climbed much? SportLiecht has that great 330.

But for crazy fun, buy a 360 Challenge car, come over to SC and get it titled. Go ahead, be the first.

Brian: Sad to see it go, especially to NY! Hope it's not going to some Wall Street type who will drive it up and down Park Ave and the cafe crowd. Keep us posted on any future plans. Maybe we should have had a wake.

HA HA HA! I assume that refers to the sidewalk cafe crowd, not the CAFE crowd in Charlotte. :)

Brian, I know how it is. I saw my first car loaded up on a traielr and off the road. :( Sad moment. Was't voluntary on my part though, a Tundra hit it from behind going about 40MPH faster, shoved my car under the car in front of me, totaled it.

    Brian,
Sorry to see it go, but congrats on the plans of starting a new chapter in your car career. It takes a lot of will power to let go of such a nice car. Trust me, I understand....I just can't seem to let go of any of them, I just keep adding to the stable.

Lets get together for lunch one of these days and discuss a few things....

Sounds good, Bob. I like lunch!!! I meant to stop by the other evening after I picked up the Benz from Beck, but it was late, and your store was closed. Maybe we can catch up one day next week. Let me know.
