Any Singapore Ferrari owners?

about 15 years ago I was travelling from Australia to Italy and saw a magazine in the singapore Airport.On the cover it talked about a collector with other 50 Ferraris.
Anyone know about this collector or have a copy of this magazine????

In 1998 it was S$5000. Today its about $10,000. This is before airfaire and other incidentals.

Is it worth buying an old Ferrari just because it is affordable ?

If its an international Ferrari collector, there are many for example noted US collector Peter Kalikow is one. A lot has been written about him.

I think you said you almost bought a Lambo and would consider a Gallardo spyder - this is what Clarkson concluded in his column review of the spyder :

actually I was thinking of turning in my F car for a used conti GT when I saw your post - not quite a value for money occasion, but its a lot of car for the money - love the interior - just wished they concealed the computer screen

conti has grown on me - esp after GTC came out

There's another ferrari for sale at MB motor paya lebar... red 355b 8 owners 65k mileage asking for 280k.. belongs to anyone here? Do u guys think its on the high side

Yesterday saw a red 348 plate 6666 near ue square. It had an unusual twin exhaust. single tail pipe on each side but place at 45 degree angle instead on 90 degree to the bumper...

 

Oh no, I think that's called the DTM pipes. A "look" from the late 90s & early 2000, often found on BMWs. Wonder how it sounds though.

That F355 is a berlinetta, only one left & very nicely done up with carbonfibre seats (like mine), tweaked ECU, exhaust, paint etc. Come to think of it, some of us know the pass 4 owners! It was originally blue.

I saw a gunmetal Gallardo with it's top down last week along Scotts. Very interesting alternative! But after a close encounter with the LP640, that's my calling....scissors doors, yes!

 

It also has challenge anti sway bars. This is the BEST example of a 355 in Singapore at the moment. Very well taken care of by the current owner. Very clean, no accidents. Ready to go. And I am not the current owner.

 

I am damn temped to get a CGT... but wrong surname lah. I think surname must be a Kwek to have both a Bentley and a Ferrari at the same time.

Hey bro, get rid of RR & Legend....maybe it's possible. You mentioned you commuted between KL & SG almost weekly before, were you always alone (one car) in the Ferrari/Maserati? Several exotic owners freak out to drive alone in MY.

 

Yup drive alone. Even now when I go up, 95% of the time I am alone.

 

$5K sounds ok.. but didn't have a license back then but $10K sounds alot for a "holiday." The course is conducted only in US?

Saw the same car on the ECP when I was going for a spin. In nice condition, but the gweilo driver didn't want to acknowledge me in my Mondial.

re the sound - there wasn't any to speak of, at least none that I could hear over my own howling monster. I have since reinserted the baffles in my exhaust so I might hear him now.
