I like the improved headlights of your last sketch. Up to date and classic dino-like at the same time. By the way do you do this as profession?
A really rough sketch and testing colour combinations....but quite like this DINO GTO.... quite different.. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Now only part-time, ....but still working on a few interesting projects each year, and can choose which ones...)
Still another rough sketch inspired by the GTO, but I quite like the fact that eventhough, it's a very retro design, it's a different and recognisable design. I guess that is what we are aiming for with the new Dino, it has to stand out, from all the sportscars that are born by the dozen every month. Still retro but with a modern twist.... Hello! I'm new as an active member in this thread. Fuoriserie a friend from another forum invited me to show that sketch here. Unforunately I'm not as briefed to that subject as you all discussing here for several months! I'll try to catch up! Hope you like it! Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm glad you decided to show it. I like it very much, but now we need to see the front and rear 3/4 views . Will be watching....and enjoy the project. Talk to you soon Ciao Italo
Hello pan68, first of all welcome here! Nice sketch, but in my opinion the windshield is too much stratos-like and the back reminds me of a Porsche 914. Just my 2 ct`s.
this is brilliant, practical and would sell. This is a direction to develop. Just please have it at about 1.2 x Lotus Elise size so ergonomically friendly to 6'+ drivers keeping chassis lightness, stiffness and simplicity. very nice, very distinctive, and instantly recognizable as what it is.
Another rough sketch on the Dino GTO, i'm starting to like this idea...... Image Unavailable, Please Login
@fuoriserie, dont like the front of your "dino" the lights and the curves where youve put the lights in are imo way to high, it reminds me of a peugeot. maybe you could try to make them a littlebit lower? only wanna help
I think I'm done with rough sketches...my next and last will be the final version.... New work project will take more of my time,.... so will show my last and final version based on the CAD images by Velocityengineer's.... Ciao Italo
How about to move the project along we start voting on elements we like. Ie fender flare, openings, door lines, exhaust layout and so on. That way it feels like we are progressing the project along. Dose anyone have clay exp? Maybe once we get a final design we can make a small scale mock up? Just shooting ideas out there.
I'll be interested to see which of your ideas you choose to take to your final proposal. I've doctored a couple of your recent drawngs. the first: GTO - stretched and lowered the nose a bit. I find all your drawings to have the nose a bit too high both visually and aero. Even the original GTO had two length fronts! the second: -P4 - moved the side air intake up the side; I like this one quite a bit. cheers Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

There is no question that the Baby Ferrari will be front engined with a two piece folding roof should it be greenlighted.
i figured that before i spent time ruining someone else's design with artistic license by trying to throw it in 3D, i'd do one of my own first. i took the oringinal inspiration from a concept sketch of the Bugatti Veyron that i found on my computer... and i'm making some adjustments and changes as i go.what do ya'll think? its a work in progress, but you can kind of see it starting to take shape. criticism welcome... constructive criticism, appreciated Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
a little more progress before bed... and i won't waste bandwidth posting anymore until its finished. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi Jim I'm sure it's related to the Alfa Rpmeo 8C platform(Maserati V8) and creating a new carbon fiber body shape, wouldn't be that difficult for this platform. It does make sense production and cost wise, but historically it doesn't, they shouldn't call it a Dino, just choose another name, maybe 250 gt swb, or California. The Ferrari heritage is rich in names , and shouldn't be a problem finding a new one.
