I heard that the place on Pultney road is storing this F40 now, along with 2 other Ferrari's. Is it true? Apparently it's owned by by some guy who made his money years ago in air conditioning. This guy is also apparently intending to be Australia's 'unofficial' ferrari dealer. All this was told to me over several glasses of wine today...so it's probably just hogwash... I only know 2 guys in Adelaide who has been in air conditioning who would have that kind of dosh for cars like these. One just had his company go through administration and assets went under the hammer last week, so I doubt it's him. The other is of dutch decent and sold his business 10 years ago, but I don't see him being an exotic car dealer. I guess its just the Adelaide rumour mill chugging along.
i believe there's some half-truths to that. fwiw it doesn't always matter that a company is going through administration, half the time that's the point of the company - to protect the wealth of the people behind it.
Yep, but this guy is going to get pinged personally as well and it's a long standing Aelaide family name apparently. Maybe it's his wife's now
well as for 'adelaide families' i believe the K's (property devs) have an F40 laying around somewhere, but i suspect they're not hurting.
"K"?? As in the car park baron's? 7 letters, ends with the letter before "T"..lol Anyway, I must therefore conclude this rumour that this guy was in air conditioning must be incorrect...otherwise I WOULD KNOW!
I was at Prestige Formula today, it was confirmed to me that the owner of the SuperAmerica in the showroom also owns an F40...he was in air conditioning and is now in Property Development.
I heard a similar thing. A guy I know works for the security company that installs their system and as all the main boxes and things are in the underground sections of the dealership he got to spend days down there having a look around. He said that they are storing cars down there for a client, but he claimed that there was an Enzo down there. I didn't believe him, but by the sounds so things he has gotten the F40 mixed up with the Enzo.
If he was in the a/c business then it has to be the dutch guy. I know he has a few ferrari's and is now in property development. There's another guy who is italian that loves his ferraris and jets, but he is still in air conditioning and I don't think he lives in Adelaide anymore. If I was a betting man, it'll be the dutch guy who owns the F40 and Super America. Man, this is sounding more like a wives tale....tea anyone??
well lets start: 1. the product knowledge of what they sell is zero 2. their concern for the customer after they sell a car is zero 3 their ability to give you a correct price b4 delivery is atrocious 4 the workshop (that in itself is a contradiction in terms) has this amazing ability of screwing up the most basic of things..........like washing a car would you like me to go on so in 25 werds or less they as an organisation are useless.
Goober I've told you before - Don't beat around the bush, tell us what you really think! Oh, and while you're at it, what is your opinion of the FCA VP?
i'm gonna have to start cut n paste all my posts they seem to go astray, anyway like i said i cannot comment on FCA VP, somehow i'm not permitted to have an opinion on this topic beacuse in defence of that person they are not here to defend themselves. Then it does take some knowledge in computing skills to be here and if one has no/ limited computer knowledge then that kinda makes it a bit hard. on another topic of interest though i know this eastern european scumbag who by chance is married to elvira mistress of horrors. anyway "it" drives a car but its an import and it doesnt have a roof, and this "thing" really doesnt have any time for peole who drive ferraris older than the model before the 360 range. so that sums it all about up, so copy time now so i dont have type this all out again and u know whats happening in adleaide.. and the worst ferrari/ maserati dealer in adelaide.......................................................PRESTIGE..........in case you didnt know
Happy to be of service, Oh great one What happened to Goobers reply - more censorship from "Little Baghdad on the Nerang"? Edit : Oh, it's back! Edit 2 : New improved version!
