Very interesting...I knew the contract with GP was over but wasn't aware of who would end up with the deal. Makes sense though.

I didn't see him there but i know him through my buddies at Timepiece. He was at the party they had a few months back...

By the way, the US President of Ferrari (forgot his name) was wearing an AP Offshore Chrono at the show with his suit (that dude is stick figure thin). Surprised after this announcement that he wasn't wearing a Panny...

yes Parloto was wearing one too. the president at AP was very nice he stopped by at our table and chated for a while. it was funny because everyone had AP's on at our table. 2T3's, 1 Montoya, 1 rose gold rubber clad, 1 royal oak off shore and a poor daytona.

Were you guys promoting brake pads or premium watches over there?!

That's quite a collection of AP's at one table...he must have been lovin' that. Poor Daytona...that's funny. I wonder who was wearing the Montoya? ;-)

Yes he loved it . the daytona looked like a mickey mouse watch next to these AP monster watches.

I just spoke to Panerai of Long Island. They said if I buy 2 Marinas in the next 6 months (1 has to be a chrono!), I can be first on the list for the Ferrari Panerai "430"!

I wonder if Panerai of New England or Panerai of Central New Jersey will make a better offer...

I have a PAM 024 and absolutely love it--my favorite watch. I would love to see that up close. Any clues on cost?? My guess is around $6-7g.

as of 4/06, that gmt model is 5800.

saw most of the lineup at a preview at tourneau 57th st last month. interesting but i prefer the regular panerais and the old gp limited ed's.
