It seems that most people here with the exception of a few tend to pass off Massa. In looking at the point standings after this race he's in third place ahead of Fisi by 1 point - well ahead of KR. I hope he maintains the lead and gives Ferrari a third place in DC. I have a friend who's been to several of the F1 test sessions in Italy and always has very favorable comments about Massa. Carol

You must be sleep deprived. How many more dumb statements are you going to make. You're right FA has no ability what so ever. You could have been driving that car and passed MS. I can't stand FA, but do you think the car just drove itself through 130R flatout the entire race while FA was asleep at the wheel. Get a grip, he drove a good race and was within 5 seconds of MS. Did he deserve to win the race.....NO, but does he deserve the championship? Certainly, eventhough I can't stand FA or anything even remotely French, he's a worthy champion. And Fisi just lost his best friend, why would he be celebrating anything. And your statement about Senna is a bit stupid as well. MS has done the same thing. Get some sleep !

Agreed. The entire season does not start and finish in one race. It's a long 18 races with 17 completed so far. No one can take away what Alonso has done. He's been very consistent. Him and MS are on par with eachother imo as far as driving ability. Like in China, people were screaming that FA didn't congratulate Michael, but I had to show the pics at the weigh-in to prove them wrong. The same probably happened here. No reason for Fisi to celebrate or open the champagne imo. Michael was happy at Monza when Alonso DNF'd so why can't Alonso do the same? A bit hypocritcal imo.
Not divine justice, unless your God watches F1 races That is racing. The team and driver with the best package will win barring a mishap. Massa could have won this race. Had he pitted at his scheduled time and come out infront of FA. But that is the old coulda, woulda, shoulda.....

i can;t help but to think... how fake was FA's post race celebrations? earlier this week, he accused the team of abondoning him and all, now he's jumping over the fence in parc ferme like how MS did last week to acknowledge the whole team and all. and that silly stupid dance of his...i thought the last time i was gonna see it was in canada.

i know I'm a bit late to the thread now.......but I just got home, that engine blow up made me almost cry, good for schumi keeping his head up though! and I hope Fisi gets better, I know what it feels like to lose a friend I'm looking forward to Brazil, and now I shall go cry myself to sleep....
LoL..wish that can happen edit : there's this funny mail came to my local TV station. this female fan. said she was a huge Mclaren supporter for years now, but she hopes that MS beats FA on his nose, because she doesn't want FA to take the number 1 to MAc....cos she hates him! thats what she said... rock on lady!
Geez, Michael didn't even complete one lap after the pit stop before *kaboom*. I was going to ask if there was a tool missing from the Ferrari pits (or all the sugar from the Renault commisary ), but ... Anybody hear what happened to DC? Speed channel missed it in commercial, but Coulthard pitted on lap 34 and DNF'd on lap 35 .... with another Ferrari engine. Schumi pitted at the beginning of lap 36 and never completed the lap. Maybe the "spec setting" Ferrari mill was just a smidge over the edge? (Dang that stupid spec engine concept anyway.)
