I cracked up today when I stopped at a local car wash to help the local soccer team and get the car cleaned up. I was one of four cars lined up and it wasnt long before every other car was ignored and the ferrari got all the attention. I snapped a few phone pics... I was getting dirty looks from the convertable mustang owner... kinda funny...

The Mustang was just a GT of course he's jealous :p

If a Testarossa came to a car wash I was working at, I dunno what I think I might do it for "free" other than a ride :D

Yes, I like the idea, very cool and all, but I wouldn't trust those towels/rags they are using on my Ferrari.

I would have just given them a $10 donation if I wanted to help out... Sorry but nobody is touching my ferrari... period! Especially a bunch of high school kids with loofah sponges and old cotton towels! :) Thime to buff out all those scratches now!
    Funny pic though!

Well, there arent any scratches that I can see.. so I am pretty sure they didnt damage the finish through my layers of wax :)

LOL! You think that's funny? Try living in Fort Collins Colorado where you have an 06 yellow Gallardo (Not to mention there is only 1 360 modena in the WHOLE town!) On an additional note: the towns population is just over 200,000 people. (About the price of the car!) You could cause lots of accidents in this town with the way people stare at the car! LOL!

I used to work at a car wash, and since it was a permanent location in a very affluent neighborhood, high end cars were common. I washed numerous 430s, 360s, a 328, Ford GT, Carrera GT, and most people working didnt even stop to look at it, since it was so common. I guess it all depends on where you are.

My brother lives in Greeley and has a screaming orange NSX. I drove it around last time I was there and you would've thought I was driving a McLaren with the attention it got. He won't even drive it to work because people overreact so badly. I can't imagine a Gallardo in Ft. Collins
