Sunday Breakfast @ Dempsey. Last minute call so just four of us but it was little fun to see four Ferraris cruising from M'Walk pass Orchard Blvd to Dempsey. I must say Sean's Tubi on yellow spider is intoxicating & most likely on level 3, it is loud even on idle & the high pitch shriek!

The Porsches were a day before organised by Fong with a rare 993RS. Same place!

Hi, you must have read a very old post there. It was a TB not TS & sold after two years of ownership, six months ago. F348s are about S$150-S$180K, that'll be good examples.

No secrets here. Just passionate owners who appreciate fine cars & life.

Yes, when I go for reservist. Actually few officers from my unit owns P & F cars.

Hi Sansara, before jumping into an old Fcar. Be prepared that maintenance isn't exactly BMW price, not exactly a lot but do prep few thousands on standby just in case & the more you use the better but don't abuse them or they'll bite :)

Porsche will be a good bet, great for daily, take it up for track on the weekend & Monday to work again. $250K will be good for a nice 996 but they aren't as desirable as a Ferrari & definitely don't sound that good & you only live once.

I live on Hillview Avenue, are you totally sure there is a Murcielago at Summerhill?? The only exotic cars i know in the area is a Bentley Flying Spur up the road (my brother's friend), there is a Ferrari 360 up at the top of the hill, and there used to be one of the only 355 spiders left in Singapore in a condominium near Summerhill. I have never seen a Murcielago on Hillview Avenue and have lived on it for 2 years, so can you confirm this?

wa lau you damn fast uh ? so quick already check prices - drive Ferrari where got expensive one ?

saw in my friend's (bigger) car - at night the vacuum tube lights up quite nicely - will try to post a pic of it as it looks at night in the car ..

anyway its too big for your car la and stop spending on accessories, watches, car models and change up to a F430 (or F360 at least) - you will see the difference immediately from the cars you have driven and realise that the each new car is unquestionably better than the old one it replaced.

My current F car is less than 5 years old. Frankly, I heard many horror stories but I never had any problems with my car although its hardly new by now - I never had a mechanical failure but the ecm had to be re-programmed once because the fuel attendant did not close the fuel cap properly leading to the engine automatically shutting down for safety when the ecm read a loss of engine pressure which happens if you drive with the cap not properly closed - tyre(s) are the biggest cost (ouch !).

My advice to Sansara is hardly suprising - the F355 is the least practical car of the lot he chose but I would have to say "go for it. You will regret not owing a Ferrari (at least once)".

Maybe you are right......but my watches appreciating every year. Eg. Patek Ref.5004 & 5050 both white gold. But if I were to buy a used 360Spider, I would lose $50k a year = a complicated Patek. But i'm itching to find my dream car, man & machine in one.

Come to think of it my E class lost about that per year & didn't gave much entertainment. Madness.

Actually most Ferraris & Gallardos can go multi-storey carparks without issue but of course there a some that should be avoided. In fact I see many Korean & Jap ricers with lower bumpers=asking for cracks

Hey Come On! Why should I joke here. I live in Hillington Green next to Summerhill. I see it almost everyday from my kitchen window, although I haven't got a pic of it. Well there is a Bentley Continental GT at Parc Palais. Why don't you try asking the security guards there? The roar of the Murcielago is LOUD! Actually the Murc was not discovered by me but by my Maid when she was doing washing. I did not believe her at first and thought that it was some plain old WRX, but now I see it everyday. She even says that there is a Blue/Black Ferrari, but I have not seen the Ferrari. By the way where do you live , Shredder?
Hey, I have lived on this hill for 3 years!

If you want to see pics of it, just go to www.exoticspotter.com. Just go to the What's New section on the homepage. There will be a date and words which say hpw many photos there are. There will be a search by location box and you just type in Singapore there and they will show you all the pics of exotic cars taken in Singapore.
