Any of you Mexians hear about this story? http://www.skynews.com.au/story.asp?id=132277 Investigations continue into the race car crash in central Victoria that's claimed the life of a Japanese millionaire, just days after he bought the jet-powered vehicle. 38 year old Manibu Condo died instantly when the car crashed off the drag strip track at 298 kilometres an hour. Witnesses says the car appeared to be in trouble about halfway through the last of several quarter mile time trails. The car took just 2.4 seconds to travel another 200 metres, before slamming into a wall on the other side of the strip. Drag strip owner Russell Clark found the car's temperature glaze 50 metres from the point of impact. A ten kilogram starter motor was found 200 metres away, and police are now reviewing footage of the smash. The driver's family is travelling from Japan to collect Condo's remains.
I thought it was in NSW? Article in Herald-Sun this morning. Some sort of jet dragster the guy had just bought and was running at one of those $40 off steet drag meetings.
