This is my selection to information on machine Felber. I collected her(it) much long! My interest is concluded in collection additional Photo and information. Interest the photographies Felber Roberta (Lancia Delta), Felber VW Golf Spezial, Spider Ferrari 308 Felber or all others. For interested - my post http://www.autotitre.com/forum/Felber-cars-72769p1.htm#v67
Presented above Felber FF (Felber 330 Ferrari Spider) was Built on the base coupe Ferrari 330 GTC (from he remained sought-after and engine with element of management and checking). The Machine was done with looking back on classical Ferrari 166 SC and on modern remarks Lotus Super 7. The Coupe Ferrari 330 GTC - was chose not accidentally this is because after leaving the new models in auto salon remained much not sold Ferrari 330 - so Willi Felber and has chosen this model as donor.
Didn't Sabaro (sp?) also do a "166SC" from a 330 GTC? Funny (or not...) but I was just thinking about the Sabaro cars a couple days ago.
Check out what the "vintage" sub-forum has become! Let´s see who can post more examples of fugly 80's and 90's kit cars whose only claim to fame (notoriety?) is that they are "based" on a destroyed Ferrari. 250 GTO spyders (pay attention to that "y", it's not just a spider!), bizzare Zagato-like redesigns, pseudo-166's... Do these "creators" have any respect? It is probably no coincidence that ALL these contraptions are uglier than ****. And no, this is not illegal, so please don't read the bill of rights to me. It's just pathetic. This stuff needs a different section. Julio

I looked through all the photos of the 330GTC again...that has to be the single most shameful automotive desecration I have ever laid eyes on, made worse because it's a highend, so-called professional project, done by someone who probably ought to know better. Personally, I like the idea of rebodying vintage cars that for economic reasons are destined only to be broken up...too bad this one fell into the wrong hands.

And that not mania, designing these cars Willi Felber, else on the grounds of outline has got the high approval on the part of Enzo Ferrari, including permit on installation on cars фирменой symbologies Ferrari. At the time of debut at the beginning initially 70-h Felber-Ferrari were an actual car - recall the remarks Sbarro about Phanter - THEY WERE VERY FASHIONABLE!!! Accordingly and Willi Felber planned to fall into this club! There was построенно 12 - much road Felber-Ferrari Spider.
Ugly? Yes, definitively, but that is a matter of taste. Of course these cars were created in a time that this shape was highly fashionable and therefore are a representation of that period. Only fashion has changed in the mean time.... Who knows what we think in 20 years of Jim's "P4/5 by Pininfarina"? Or will we always admire this car because it is created by Pininfarina and sanctioned by the factory? For me this post is very interesting. In Marcel Massimi's book "Making a difference", information on Felber was sadly missed. Of course I understand that the scope of this book was on Italian coachbuilders with a strong emphasis on cars build in close cooperation with the factory instead of cars build later based on wrecked standard production cars but I was hoping to find well researched info on people like Felber, Sbarro, later work by Zagato etc. This info fills a part of that gap quite nicely

Jurassick, First I want to thank you for posting the pictures. Although I am not a fan of Felber, I like being able to see the cars. To me, he had very strange style taste, that 1970 Pontiac Trans Am is absolutely horrible! However, at least his work was consistent - it's all ugly. Someone once told me that good design evokes strong emotion either strongly for or strongly against. His designs must be good, for me, they evoke a very strong emotion against! Stu, The Marzotto car is ugly too! Regards, Art S.
